It’d be pretty easy for a freshman who was out a big chunk of the season to melt under this kind of pressure in physical play. It takes a bad ass to not only not be intimidated but to be the leading scorer.

Honorable mention: Azzi and Christyn for POINTS and ONO for four big blocks!!!
Aaliyah for drawing fouls. Ugly but a "W". One game at a time!

Christyn made at least 3 important plays on O at the right time and played generally solid D. some key shots. Both deserve the award. AE was pretty solid. Paige still getting her legs and game flow under her. UCF makes teams play ugly. And my keyboard is suddenly insisting on italics for reasons of its own. No BA award for electronics.
ETA That late foul call on Williams is probably in the top 3 of worst foul calls in history. If anything if it was a foul at all it was an illegal pick.

Sorry, but tonight I didn't see any bad asses at all, but mostly candy butts, that soft centered type of candy.. Geno warned them it was going to be rough and tough, and it wasn't like we have never played this team, but yet they fizzled under the pressure. Giving understanding to our freshmen, but most of our upperclassmen just fizzled, and an incredible metamorphosis occurred as before our eyes Dorka turned into Liv of the AZ game. Well, maybe it was a good tester for us going into the Sweet 16...
