Cannot argue with either of those choices. Those 2 young ladies came to play! The rest of the team, not as much...
Pretty easy to say. Once again they had no time to adjust to missing a key piece on both ends of the floor. Our O flows through ONO and her shot blocking makes penetration. tough. I didn’t see a lack of effort. But no doubt CW kept us reasonably in the game and Azzi did her thing to make it close.

Also, where was Olivia? Are we back to we have nobody on our starting five playing?

Is The Kibitzer Memorial Badass Award only for the home team? Not looking for hate, serious question.
The badass of this game was clearly Madison Siegrist not on the home team. :(

Both Christyn and Azzi scored more than Siegrist. Siegrist was pretty well shut down in the second half.

Yes I believe this award is only for UConn team, and not necessary for home team.

Agree to some degree, but part of the lack of consistency is due to the lack of a consistent availability of our key players.

Not an attack but what player did more in the game and lead their team to an upset win over a top 10 team?
I wish it was different but I watched the game and the outcome does not lie. Christyn and Azzi were wonderful late in the game.
Siegrist lead the game with 12 rebounds, I have always placed an importance of defense and rebounding equal to scoring as if done right it results in scoring. A lot of funny calls in this one to...

Certainly, you, make a good point, but I ask you, how much of this consistent availability of key players do you need to expect four D1 players to average 1 point a quarter? Two points each quarter would have been enough to win it.... Geez, these are stats for a pick-up team with complete strangers...

Azzi and CW. CW played with incredible passion at the end of the game. I said this in the "pick up a guard" thread, but I'll say it again. Liv will be sorely missed when she graduates. Unless some surprises unfold it's going to be tough to dominate next year, tough to win when your game is 90% or more guards.

I’ll go with Azzi. She tried to put the team on her back and carry them across the finish line. She very nearly did it. For goodness sake set some screens for the woman!

Seriously, you don't pay attention to anything UCONN???? Why are you here???
Presuming your question is rhetorical? I'll assume he or she is interested in UCONN women's basketball and an apparent newbie, based on the message/score numbers. The question may have been posed not based on any lack of knowledge, but that's conjecture on my part. I too asked the question, maybe a couple of hundred times last night, knowing exactly what the media told me but wondered if this was, say the 2nd round of the tourney would both be out on the floor, which is how the question may have been put forward?
