Speaking of this tune.....so, Neil Finn of Crowded House is touring as part of a Lindsey Buckingham-less Fleetwood Mac.

I heard that the other day, from Meg Griffin on her morning Deep Tracks show.

No Lindsey no interest from me.

This was my first reaction but, not to get all @storrsroars , in truth it's more like no Peter Green no interest from me. The more I hear of the early stuff--and of his solo stuff--the more I feel that way. Totally different band.

I don't know this for sure, but I think Finn is handling Lindsey's vocals and Mike Campbell is handling the guitar. And Campbell is no slouch.

So you knew Fleetwood Mac when they were still good, unlike that band with Stevie Nicks that had all the platinum records

Actually, to fit into this thread, I kinda liked "Sentimental Lady" from the Bob Welch era.

I do enjoy Lindsey though. I have one of his solo CDs. I remember him tearing it up on Letterman with "Countdown".

I am on board with all of that. And yes now that you mention it I did hear the Mike Campbell thing also and he is absolutely no slouch. Maybe one of the most criminally underrated guitarists ever.

As for Stevie, I will admit to loving “Landslide.”

I appreciate Fleetwood Mac in all its incarnations. I’m sure the Buckingham/ Nicks era is to commercial for some but both wrote some incredible pop songs.

Here is a little known nugget that relates to some previous posts. Megan Trainor was discovered by Big Al Anderson

Ariana has pipes for days. Took my daughter to see her a couple years ago.

Is Ariana 21 yet? Because I have nothing more to say until that's established.

I'm a big fan. I think she's like 30, it creeps me out that she looks like she's 14 and the thoughts that run through my head...

Mike Campbell on lead... no slouch.

I like mike Campbell alot. He's a fine player.

But Lindsey is in the rarefied air of being a wholly original artist. There is nothing really derivative about his approach to his instrument. There are only a handful of guitarists out there alive you can say that about.

Plus he was a fantastic writer and singer.

I find myself enjoying all iterations of Fleetwood Mac. But that snapshot in time from the mid 70's to the early 80's that band was a juggernaut.
