The case for Rob Dauster

I love CBS Eye on College Basketball's Matt Norlander. He is an excellent reporter, extremely knowledgeable and fair, a close contact of Dan Hurley, and he lives in Connecticut (even though it's not the 860). He always gives UConn our flowers during his show, and he has a really nice mix of humor along with his anlysis with Gary Parrish.
I second this. Norlander is the best out there and he isn't a homer necissarily but is very pro-UConn.

Why does Goodman get so much crap? Is it just because he’s a little awkward? I listen to plenty of Field of 68 and I’ve always found him to be insightful.
I know a lot of fans from the Big East really dislike him for his reaction to the fan-made Divine Providence documentary. Every time he says something about Big East basketball on twitter, there's usually someone saying "how do you look in orange?" in the replies.

I like Goodman personally

Zanetto is a true weirdo - I feel like he attaches his identity to Hurley. His pod headlines always sound like an ad for Crazy Eddie. The man worships Hurley, in a very weird way. I used to plug in once in awhile, now I just avoid. How Danny Hurley is building a Dynasty!!! How Danny Hurley is the best coach in the sport!!!

This is so schmucky.

Are we in the Big 12 yet? I was told that was imminent.

Zannetto's recent pod title is classic Zannetto:

Why Doubting Dan Hurley is a Recipe for Disaster

I mean, you can't make this stuff up. This is like every one, it's impossible to take seriously. I don't know if he just gets it all on ChatGPT or what.

I support Mark Z. He's a huge UConn fan. He devotes a lot of time to UConn basketball. He's had a hard time with people trashing him, plus the end of the gig at Locked On, but he's still out there doing Big East Energy.

It's not easy to get on the air everyday and leave yourself open to this kind of criticism.

Now Jeff Goodman on the other hand...

Goodman deserves all the hate he gets, and even he himself would agree with that.

Goodman has been much better since joining field of 68. He was insufferable maybe 5-10 years ago.

Dauster is fine. He has some insightful takes and some takes I don't agree with but at least understand the logic behind.

Zannetto is an embarrassment. Talk about a waste of time. Avoid at all costs.

He needs to do away with empty corny content like this and find ways to bring smart guests on. Less is more too.

He's such a big UConn fan that he does podcasts about every other team in the conference. Sometimes when it's not easy to do every day it's because there's nothing to say and you're not good at saying it.

I responded to his Dauster tweet and he dm'd me to plead his case. One of his direct quotes in response was "duck* the Boneyard forever". I had to laugh because we know he gets all his UConn content from Boneyard threads.

I've personally overloaded on Uconn content through the 3peat attempt. Where once I was clawing for it as we were rebuilding the brand to new heights, kind of over it and just want to see us play and win.
