There is also some speculation the logo changes from a block "C" to a block "U" like the one on the flag in the UConn Harlem Shake video:

U? Seriously? So ditch the C because we might be confused with Colorado (which has a Buffalo), Cal (which says Cal) or Cinci (bearpaw C), and instead go with the the one letter identified with every single program. Genius. Worse even that the "S" for State that some use.

UConn=Yukon. Huskies, dog sleds, snow. I want a whole team of huskies pulling a sled through snow from a snow machine at every game. White out days in the "blizzard fan zone". I hope they don't screw this up. Icicles hanging from the block C would work for me. In silver/chrome.

Minnesota vikings c. 1964 was pretty similar. hard to tell from this but I seem to have seen similar numbers too. Not in person, in a photo somewhere. Purple, whilte with the gold trim. I don't have a problem with it. But it is hardly groundbreaking.

I'd prefer something like this, though in different colors obviously. UConn wore uniforms like this in the 1940s and 1950s. http://www.uniformdatabases.com/images/1942_Philadelphia.png Where Philly has grey pants I'd go with white, Then reverse everything on the road. White with blue, and blue pants. I'd lose the leather helmets, too. You could go with Blue or White. Or mix and match if you felt the need to do so. I want one helmet for all occasions but I get that some folks think alternates is a good idea.

I was starting to think i was the only one that liked winning games more than playing dress up. As long as they're not ridiculously idiotic, I don't really care what our uniforms and logo look like. I still use a mouse pad at work with the 80s style cursive 'UConn' logo that HFD would probably chastise me for.
