I’m starting to like it more than breaking bad
I liked the interplay with Chuck a lot but c'mon. The stakes and pacing are just not in same stratosphere as BB, even the cinematography and other excellent work loses its power without the gravitas of constant stakes upping that BB spun in and out of. That show was just a once in a lifetime deal. Saul isn't Joanie Loves Chachi but its Mork at best.

SOAP is a show that I missed and has lost its place in the pantheon. It was so funny and way ahead of its time and speaking of spinoffs I bet people remember 'Benson' more (or if not Robert Guillaume on 'Sportsnight' or more horribly Katherine Helmond 1/50th as funny on the dreadful 'Who's the Boss').

I swear to god if The Wire doesn't win I'll burn the Boneyard to the ground.

There are a lot of great shows that deserve to be on this list (The Simpsons, Seinfeld, Arrested Development, Mad Men, Breaking Bad), and those should be in the mix with other classics, recent and old, that I didn't list. But if The Wire gets Casablanca'd?

If you have not seen Fawlty towers you are missing out big time. Just twenty episodes but some of the best comedy this world has ever known, go seek it out.

I entered Fawlty towers, curb your enthusiasm, seinfeld, Futurama, king of the hill, Sherlock (UK), bobs burgers, Daria, hey Arnold and breaking bad.

Malcom in the middle, wonder years, Chappelle show, skins (UK),Doug and Pete & pete could all easily be up there too but miss out and are more top 25.

Simpsons has been hurt by nearly twenty years of poor episodes and redundancy...yawn.

Couldn't agree more on Fawlty Towers and the Wonder Years. Both would have made my list if I thought of them.

Game of Thrones
Breaking Bad
Law & Order
Scrubs
Arrested Development
I Love Lucy
How I Met Your Mother
Parks & Rec
And a couple of personal favs that don’t have the following to make the cut but were consistently great: Fringe & Psych

Posting first. Reading later:

All in the Family
M*A*S*H
Happy Days
Hill Street Blues
Law and Order (The Briscoe Years)
Everybody Loves Raymond
Peaky Blinders
Seinfeld
Fargo
WalkingDead/Fear The Walking Dead
Better Call Saul
Cheers
Mike and Molly

So many shows I have not seen, I admit.

Does it ever get better after Season 2? That’s as far as I got, thought it was way overhyped.

Here's my top ten:

Justified
Seinfeld
Cheers
The Mentalist
All In The Family
Friday Night Lights
The Americans
The Office
Life
Terriers

I know my last 2 were on 2 and 1 seasons respectively. A few others that almost made my list were Chuck, Deadwood, That 70's Show and Last Man Standing.

It’s close we’ll see how this season plays out. The whole white supremacist turn in BB felt weird to me because the characters weren’t interesting and didn’t like how they played such a role in the ending of the show when all the other characters were so established

Based on your user name and avatar; I’m surprised there’s not a certain show listed here...
Too obvious. This 10 isn’t an “exact” match for what I entered.:D:D

Season 2 a lot of people didn't like, but then it gets appreciated more once you see the whole series. Seasons 3 and 4 are probably the 2 most considered the best seasons, but idk if by the end of season 1 you weren't into it maybe its not for you

In my opinion, the greatest TV moment was Nell Armstrong walking on the moon. Other than some sports moments I was never more glued to my TV than those Apollo missions. So I guess my answer for the best TV show would be the coverage of the Apollo missions.

Justified
Super Girl
Veep
Psych
Eureka
Law and Order
Boston Legal
Northern Exposure
Boardwalk Empire
