With the donations to the Cardiology Center flowing in last month, I had an idea and figure now is as good a time as any to throw it out there.

The regular season is right here and to support Coach Ollie in his first season, I'm going to donate $10.00 per win to our charity.

I'm calling it "The Bandwagon Program" and, if you'd like, you can also jump on the Bandwagon with me.

  • You can pledge any amount per win that you'd like. $0.50? $50.00? It's all good.
  • When the season is over, you figure out your total donation and send it in then.
  • It gives you almost 4 months to save a few bucks here and there and isn't too big a one time hit to your wallet.
If you're interested in jumping on board, please respond to this thread and I'll keep a running total.

Support our old coach by supporting our new coach!

I like it. Count me in for this one too. $10.00 per win, plus another $10.00 if it's a ranked team. Nice one, Mau.
 
I like this. I'm in for $10 a win and $50 for any win over a top 20 opponent. I'm assuming someone will remind us about this at the end of the season?

I'll go in for $5 a win, supporting the Kevin Ollie/UConn Bandwagon to promote the Cardiology Center.
 
Just as an FYI....

We have 7 people currently on the Bandwagon.

Deepster, Waquoit, Mauconnfan, Mr. Wonderful, champs99and04, CAHusky and DogBreath2U

Just messing around with the spreadsheet I built? If UConn has 20 wins, including 3 over ranked opponents and 1 win over Pitt or Cuse, we'd donate just over $1,400 as a group.

So this has some steam behind it at something as seemingly small as "5 bucks a win".
 
Enosch is going to throw Toby Kimball numbers up, Leon is going to lead the nation in 3 point scoring and Niels is going to get the national 6th man award and average 12 a game.......all because of this incentive laden thread from the Fishster!!
 
One game into the season and my wallet is already $10.00 lighter. I hope it continues to get lighter as the season goes on.
 
Last night's game was worth $50. Wins over ACC schools (Pitt & Cuse count here) will also be worth $50 each and I'll toss in $5 per Big East win (Pitt & Cuse can count here as well).
 
That is creative thought process with the wins donation. I Like the Davidson advertising on the Boneyard board (not being sarcastic). Now let me head under my rock before my post gets deleted again by the mods! LOL LOL

Recruits had to like what they saw last night.
 
i would like to join this. i have not made my donation yet becuase i want to wait for a different work situation where hopefully i can get a match(if i dont in the longrun i will still be making my pledge anyway...). i know we have a long time until this is a final number so i'm going to wait for my orginal pledge until that time or until times up to add for w/e reason thru this foundation thing. but on top of that while its not much i'll go another dollar per win and instead of a dollar i'll do five for beating pitt and cuse.
 
We tried this on the FB board and now UConn owes us each $46.46. We're not holding our breath.

I probably won't be able to track the total of Sportscenter Top 10's. If you Private Message me and let me know, I'll add it to your total. I know DeAndre Daniels was Top 10 with his dunk in the MSU game, so I'm starting you off with $5.00 there for a total of $15.00 so far, right?

To save the effort I'll do $5 for each win and $10 for every game over .500
