What's really disturbing is how former national powers like St John's, Providence, and Georgetown have fallen off a cliff since the breakup of the old Big East. What's also telling is how women's basketball in the New Big East has also crashed.

Oh give me a break, do you call barely making it into the NCAA with 13 losses good? Including a loss to hapless Boston College. They have not had a really good team since 97. During that time UCONN managed to win a few National Championships IIRC.

Only three of Davidson's starters and 12/13 other players on the roster (out of 35) are getting any "baseball money" from Davidson’s baseball scholarship resources. Partial scholarships tend to be the norm in college baseball.

What does UMD's all time record against FSU in football have to do with the stats that the poster listed? I won't bother to look it up, but I'd wager most ACC Members outside of Miami have a *** all time record against FSU in football. UMD's head to head record with FSU in one sport doesn't discredit the stats he listed or change the fact that UMD has a very strong all around athletic department.
