Here's a look at the top 12 according to The Athletic, along with the 5 bubble teams, from preseason to week 2. Green/red = up/down, and blue = new to the list.

If we run the table, hope for 3+ loss chaos everywhere else, we still have a shot!

Man, the overreaction to USF's big win on this board has been something. How where you guys acting when Northern Illinois beat #2 Notre Dame last year. Y'all were probably predicting Northern Illinois to the Big 10.

Nope, just happy ND lost.

Best on my extensive analysis we seem to be missing. I'll check again after week 3.

Btw, USF doesnt even make the bubble list...wow.

Updated after yesterday's games - The Athletic, Green/red = up/down, and blue = new/back on the list.

Bye Clemson, Louisville, and Tennessee.

I'm surprised to see Tulane is still the projected AAC champ and winner of the G5 bid. Thought Memphis would've jumped them after beating Arkansas and Tulane getting stomped by Ole Miss. I guess they expect Memphis to lose to Tulane? Or lose multiple games in the AAC so as to not qualify for the championship game? They do have a pretty loaded conference schedule playing Tulane, Navy and USF this year.

Today's update. Green/red = up/down, and blue = new/back on the list. A whole lotta shakin' going on.

Welcome Navy (hub is pretty psyched after yesterday's game!!!!) and USC. Adieu to Missouri & Michigan.

If these are projections, which they seem to be, what exactly did Mizzou do to fall out? They lost by 3 to Bama, which is better than most expected. And if you were expecting them to win, then why was Bama ranked 9th last week?

In fairness, they were listed twice as a bubble team last week. So, this weeks slight means, on avg, they’re a bubble team.

Indiana broke through the bubble in week 5 and is a top 4 contender week 7. Is that justified? Maybe.

Beat ODU, Kennesaw State, Indiana State
Beat Illinois, Iowa, Oregon. Of course the Oregon win was huge and the rest of the schedule is pretty soft for a Big Ten schedule. Indiana could very well run the table if it is that good
Michelle State, UCLA, MD, PSU, Wisc, Purdue

Yeah, that was my bad. Not sure who it should have been, as when I went back to the history, the website said something different so who knows.
