Here's a look at the top 12 according to The Athletic, along with the 5 bubble teams, from preseason to week 2. Green/red = up/down, and blue = new to the list.
Nope, just happy ND lost.Man, the overreaction to USF's big win on this board has been something. How where you guys acting when Northern Illinois beat #2 Notre Dame last year. Y'all were probably predicting Northern Illinois to the Big 10.
Best on my extensive analysis we seem to be missing. I'll check again after week 3.Here's a look at the top 12 according to The Athletic, along with the 5 bubble teams, from preseason to week 2. Green/red = up/down, and blue = new to the list.

I'm surprised to see Tulane is still the projected AAC champ and winner of the G5 bid. Thought Memphis would've jumped them after beating Arkansas and Tulane getting stomped by Ole Miss. I guess they expect Memphis to lose to Tulane? Or lose multiple games in the AAC so as to not qualify for the championship game? They do have a pretty loaded conference schedule playing Tulane, Navy and USF this year.Updated after yesterday's games - The Athletic, Green/red = up/down, and blue = new/back on the list.
See ya Auburn, Utah, Iowa State.

next week. I was trying to compress the table size,Can we replace tOSU with Ohio State?
Complete arrogance on their part
Has anyone ever found the fake Ohio State University? Can we replace tOSU with Ohio State?
Complete arrogance on their part
Forgot. The “The” is now showing at Penn State stadium. SheeshCan we replace tOSU with Ohio State?
Complete arrogance on their part
In fairness, they were listed twice as a bubble team last week. So, this weeks slight means, on avg, they’re a bubble team.If these are projections, which they seem to be, what exactly did Mizzou do to fall out? They lost by 3 to Bama, which is better than most expected. And if you were expecting them to win, then why was Bama ranked 9th last week?
Yeah, that was my bad. Not sure who it should have been, as when I went back to the history, the website said something different so who knows. In fairness, they were listed twice as a bubble team last week. So, this weeks slight means, on avg, they’re a bubble team.
Shizzle used to do an Eliminator thread
I don’t think anyone will call you crazy….I think they currently have the some of the better odds of any G5 to make the playoffs.Call me crazy but I can see USF getting in as the best of G5
Yep, at this point it’ll be either Memphis or USF. Outside chance of Tulane if the other two fall apartI don’t think anyone will call you crazy….I think they currently have the some of the better odds of any G5 to make the playoffs.
So three of their wins are true FCS Indiana St; slightly FBS Old Dominion and even more slightly FBS Kennesaw St?Indiana broke through the bubble in week 5 and is a top 4 contender week 7. Is that justified? Maybe.
Beat ODU, Kennesaw State, Indiana State
Beat Illinois, Iowa, Oregon. Of course the Oregon win was huge and the rest of the schedule is pretty soft for a Big Ten schedule. Indiana could very well run the table if it is that good
Michelle State, UCLA, MD, PSU, Wisc, Purdue
They beat ODU week one, week 2 was Kennesaw St 56-9, week 3 was Indiana St 73-0... They didn't just beat the FCS and newest FBS teams, they beat them like a top team is supposed to beat them, which is to say they destroyed them.So three of their wins are true FCS Indiana St; slightly FBS Old Dominion and even more slightly FBS Kennesaw St?
I'm a bit less impressed with them than I was before seeing your post.
Yes, the Oregon win holds value but they had better not hit any bumps in the road.
I'm also beginning to think they may have been a bit hasty with Cignetti's new contract
UCLA is 2-0 with the new coaches and unknown how good they are. Also PennSt s last chance to have anything good happen this year would be a win at home next month. Still a lot of talent on that roster.Wouldn't be surprised if IU wins out. Their first real challenge should be the B1G championship.
