Yeah, no UConn player has ever made a dumb play.

That dumb, no. Two reasons. There would have been three girls saying "1 sec" before the in bound pass. From there it is not a "dumb play" anymore. Mental failure.

Wilson has the refs in her corner still...first jump ball situation where a foul was called that I have seen in forever...and guess which player was swinging her elbows...wow!!!

.-.
Has Bridgette Gordon's coaching left any mark on Tennessee's playing in this tournament?

You are just wrong.

Tie game. Shot clock off. UConn has ball.
You are supposed to hold for the last shot. UConn didnt. As a result the other team won.

That was a pretty dumb play.

No, not really. You also get constant conflicting instructions in that situation. Be aggressive; get a good shot; who is going to make a play. What was Geno harping about in practice on the HBO special that very week regarding taking the last shot. "None of you girls look like you want the last shot. You're afraid of making a mistake." Not a pure, only one way to play the situation.

What exactly is the competing instruction for and in-bounds play when there is one sec on the clock? Consider a Dribble? Maybe make a pass? Set up the offense? No. Mental failure; no other way to play that situation.

I wonder what the plus/minus is for when Wilson is on the floor vs not.

Carolinas guards are 0 for 15 so far into 4th quarter. Hard to win a game that way!

Carolina by 16 with 8 to play. A guard just hit their first shot of game, a three.

Dawn needs to call a TO and rip her team for losing focus. They are sleep walking.

What is Staley thinking sitting Wilson with 6 minutes to play? They can still loose this game. 10 point game 3;31 to go and UT fighting for every ball and Wilson is back in the game finally.

Even when she plays well, it's always been clear that she was fairly slow which was gonna be a big WNBA issue.

Her motor just isn’t there. Watching her go up against Wilson is painful. It’s like she’s never learned how to box out or block a shot at 6-6.

You mean like she did against UConn? Sometimes I think she over thinks things, or is so p*ssed off that she forget to call one.
