Do not agree, AEH is a team player, she plays very good defense, she make accurate pass but is a streaky shooter. She has been a great addition for MSST.
 
I’ll be shocked if this one ends in less than a 15 point win for MSU. 40-34 at half but MSU getting much easier looks than TENN.

Davis has 18 points in the 1st half. I think that's more than she scored over about a 3-game stretch during Tennessee's skid.

That's probably more than her sum total in all of TN's games against the Top25.
 
Without Westbrook, where's the coaching prowess of Vic? Stop Davis and this game is done. He's too preoccupied with the "laser".

This Bulldog team is not capable of spreading the floor like last year's team. If AEH is their best 3-pt shooter, and she runs hot and cold, they have to pound the ball inside. That allows the LV's to collapse on McCowan. Right now, Charlie Crème has MS St as the #2 seed in Albany. If it comes down to the Huskies vs the Bulldogs for a trip to the FF, I'm OK with that.
 
Somehow UT is in this. I don't see them sustaining this through the second half. Some prayer shots went in; without Davis it'd be a blow out. Davis chose to come to play today, and State does not have a great match up for her. They should play zone more.
 
Ok, I will probably get myself in trouble again, and I am as "guilty" as anyone I guess, but wouldn't this be considered a game thread? Not sure why this is kosher.
 
Unfortunately we now have evidence that MSU deserves only a #6 Ranking and not above any of the 5 ahead them...
 
Losing Bibby dramatically changes the offense and the outlook this post season.

I am not sold on AEH and Scott shooting with any consistency from 3

State really isn't playing very well today. Can Vic really not get better defense from his team against a notoriously poor offense, without their leading guard?????
