Rennia Davis lucky banked 3 pt shot gives it to TN. As much as the result may irk me, I am happy Nared may have a chance of playing another game. These injuries are just soul stealing. Especially for seniors.

Back to Indiana / MSU 4th OT game on MSG 101-101 with 3:50 left. Leading scorer Collie from MSU just fouled out. Ouch

Can the LVs play SC without Wilson 3x this season? Lucky tonight, maybe lucky tomorrow. Overrated and unimpressive!

I would say yes. Tenn then pulls off another 15 point win over hapless SC and vaults to a 2 seed knocking SC to a 3 seed...

This year is already better than last year. I sure hope Nared is alright.
 
I'm watching the Tennessee vs Auburn game, and how is that Tennessee (7 seed in SEC Tournament) is a TOP 16 seed? BTW, Rennia Davis did not call "bank". When Tennessee plays a well coached, well balanced, team from outside the SEC conference, they will be done in the NCAA Tournament. It could very well be the 1st game in the NCAA Tournament. I'm sure the NCAA Selection Committee will make them a #2 seed after surviving this Auburn game. NCAA Selection committee needs to soften the dependency on RPI.

What a shot by Davis. Creme did say if Tennessee gets to the championship game. Then Tennessee could possibly be a #2 seed.

Cahill fouled with 3.6 seconds left Makes 2 foul shots up 111-109.

Poor inbound play by MSU. Indiana Survives 111-109. Indiana will be shot and get slaughtered by MD I imagine.

Michigan vs Penn ST still needs to be played. :eek:

The refs helping Auburn seems to be a theme with a section of Vols fans from what I'm seeing.

That doesn't mean anything. Vertgio is a funny thing that usually doesn't go away that fast. They better be real sure she's OK because risking it.

Yes her health is the most important thing.
 
Tennessee has been shameful for some time now.... it continues to amaze me..... Auburn brings to the battle some hard working scrappy but not talented players.... Unique Thompson was #74 in her class.... Jessica Jones was #92.... everyone else was an also ran.....

They lose to Missouri.... who can boast of only one top 100 player on their entire roster....

I think it is fair to say that the Lady Vols have neither the coaching nor the grit to go deep into the tournament.... it has been many years since they have mattered.... television tries to prop them up.... but the South Carolinas the Mississippi States the LSUs and the Missouris are blowing past them even in their own conference.... even though their roster is full of all star talent..... but all stars in high school does not mean all stars in Knoxville.... not trying to bust on them.... they are just a sorry exhibition of basketball
 
I had to laugh when the announcers said that Auburn had gotten over the fear of seeing Tennessee on the uniform, as it's something players feel when playing a stories program like UConn or Tennessee. Does Tennessee on the uniform strike fear into the heart of any opposing players anymore? Are there any college players old enough to remember?

Tenn has wins over Marquette, Texas, Stanford, Georgia, Texas A&M, and a Wilson-less SC (2x). They have 1 bad loss: Alabama.

If you can find 16 teams with a stronger resume than that, I'd love to hear them.
