Simmons back in with 7:40. She sat for about 10 minutes.

KY finally hitting, 52-41 with 7 to go

KY slowing things up and that's not their game.
Glory steal for layup and Simmons hits a 3, to pull it to 52-48.
 
KY has been terrible from 3 pt land. TN keeps leaving them open and KY keeps taking them ... and missing. Poor decision makign down the stretch.

And Massengale gets fouled for a 3-pt play chance. 54-53 KY with FT to go.
 
Never understood why teams who have an effective thing going stop and go away from their style of play.

Very good pass by Massengale out of double team to tie, 56-56.

Then Stricklen steal, and TN with chance to take lead.
 
Too much dribbling at top of key leads to a TO and TN layup.

I slightly overstated by saying they "slowed it down", but they did run a half-court offense which wasnt as effective. The problem was that their regular offense is pretty helter skelter, so it could've missed a bunch of shots and this happened anywya.
 
KY takes another 3. Idiots. Maybe when you're 3-70, you try to get a 2 instead.

Offensive foul on Stricklen which seemd to be a bad call.

KY down 1 with the ball and 12 sec. KY's offense has been so terrible as of late, I'll be shcoked if they can score.

IMHO Refs bailed out KY with the offensive foul call on Stricklen. Should have been a no call and who knows Stricklen might have been have made a layup. Good Win by KY and tough loss by Tenn after a good comeback.

With that said Tenn probably loss the game at the Free Throw Line making 12 of 19. Ky made 17 of 22

well, KEntucky totally deserved to win that game. they outplayed tennessee for about 35 out of the 40 minutes or so. i'm shocked at tennessee's furious 15 point turnaround or so (down 12, to up 3 or 5?) but Kentucky pulled it out. i think we can safely say there is NO WAY tennessee gets a 1 seed at this point. zero. zilch. nada.

Would have been nice to see a side angle camera shot.
The one angle we saw did look like a bad call.
 
Can't argue with the rankings at this time: looks like the #1 seeds will be Baylor, ND, CT, Stanford.

It will become even clearer after they lose to other SEC teams and ND.

weird incident at end - I was watching the ESPN Gamecast - It said TN 62 KY 57 with 12 seconds left. I tried to take a screencap but just missed.

KY wasnt quite that dominant. Only for about 1st 10 mins of 2nd half.

When the offense is terrible, a 10 point run can happen if a team has a moderate scoring burst. That's what happened to TN -- a couple of steals and 2 three-pointers.
 
I know that Tennessee has a tough schedule, but will they be the only 4 loss team in the top 25?

No, seriously, I'd like to see that.
But I doubt it. No one else is remotely as good as KY. Still think Vols win regular season title.

I should have been more suspicious - the play by play said Bass got an offenseive revbounds and a tip in for a score. Bass?

Turned out to be Mathies - talk about getting it wrong
