Horrible bet. BTW, that's the same Houston defense we faced. Has nothing to do with their back up QB. We ran on them and whipped them. Plus forced 4 turnovers. Other than #8 our talent is better than Temple. It's time to admit it. You still want to trade our talent for Temple's?
Well not quite...they lost the AAC leading tackler on that targeting call. So they had everyone except the conference leader in tackles at the time. Still an impressive victory but we all seem to forget that they lost a key part of their defense.

Might be a terrible bet. We shall see.

Yeah the QB doesn't make a difference. Did you not see the last drive and that TD?

Temple can't move against Houston's defense--we did. Temple can't force turnovers --we did.
And we have an overall better defense (other than #8) than Temple. So what's your point--that Houston has a better QB? Their back up wasn't bad and was touted coming into our game. You don't want to recognize the reality. As I said before, if you want to trade our talent for Temple (as you said before)--then unlike Bo--you don't know football.

UConn also only had 300 yards and scored a miracle TD on what should have been a pick 6. Plus Ward makes no difference - he doesn't impact how often they turn it over.

You are starting to make Chief seem insightful. Impressive.

Temple can't move the ball as well as UConn.

Yet they have in less than 3 quarters the same amounts of yards UConn had in the entire game.

Now you're being downright snarky. That was a great play. There are lots of plays that are fortunate. Ask the Michigan punter.

So you admit it was fortunate. That a guy dropped pick 6. The deflected ball was caught by the third string QB and they somehow completed the pass.

Yeah fortunate is a good word for it.

Every tipped ball interception is fortunate. Every batted down pass is fortunate. Lots of plays are fortunate. So what?

Um - most of those don't also require the third string QB to throw a 40 yard TD under pressure.

Most of them AREN'T FOURTEEN POINTS SWINGS IN GAMES THAT END BY THREE POINTS.

I'm just happy that my +6 play looks the best it's looked since opening kickoff.

Not a chance.
Too early to say too much, but the defense has turned up their level of play, kick coverages all over the return game. Anything is possible!

Why are they fortunate? Isn't that just called playing football?

Game set match.

2 botched snaps in a row. Can't have that at crunch time.

Just checking in. Was Temple in the 2H a TERRIBLE bet?
