The refs are the story in this game. When refs swallow the whistle two things happen 1) the aggressor gets more aggressive 2) the less aggressive get less aggressive. That would be Temple on point 1) and UConn on point 2)

The refs didn't make them forget the wide open three point shooter or make the goofy pass into double coverage.

The refs forced them to take wide open 3's because attempting to get a basket and a call inside does not occur. The fact they miss open 3's has nothing to do with it. They are human.
