Tell me about the NEW Big Ten

Look out, Washington on a 4 game winning streak! I feel a lot better about the season than I did a few weeks ago. 3 of the wins are against quality opponents.

Were up 10 midway thru Q4 against Oregon, Ducks cut it to 3. But then UO went cold and Huskies hit some FTs, 64-56 final.

For those that were watching...there's no way that wasn't traveling by Madison Greene on the hoop that tied it at 90, right?

Illinois, Michigan and Michigan St. finish at 11-7. Iowa, Indiana, Nebraska and Oregon 10-8. Washington 9-9. Minnesota 8-10. Plus Maryland and Ohio St. 13-5. The blob is real!

Little note, first time Washington finished w/ a non losing record in conference since Plum's senior season in 2016-17. It's been a while.

cancontent favorite from Canade Sarah Te-Biasu with the buzzer 3 pointer. She made tons of game winning plays in OT. Unfortunately, it took Bri McDaniel injury for her to really step up her game.
Thanks for this post @TerpWomenFan! I was on the road while this game was on. Can't remember if this was on BTN or BIG10+. Hoping so as I would love to see the replay.

Happy for Te-Biasu to have the grad season she is with Maryland. This could be her only opportunity to participate in March Madness in her entire career if memory is correct.

I thought that it was legit. She was still dribbling the ball as she slid.

I thought she paused her dribble for a bit, then started again. Also in my viewing history it seems like refs just won't let you stand back up after you are on the floor without calling traveling. It just looked so strange.

For some reason this is making me think of the scene in "Semi Pro" where the alley oop is invented and the poor ref Father Pat is just as confused as he can possibly be. "People just can't float through the air like that Jackie." Only in this case I just don't think people can slide across the floor like that.

USC is the cream of the crop in the Big Ten as expected but I still think it is a stretch to think a Big Ten team makes the Final Four. USC really only has one player you need to contain to win and against the top teams that just isn't enough come tournament time. I still like UConn, Texas, South Carolina and ND. Match ups though are important and some teams don't match up too good with others so I will still watch lol

I haven't seen a single team this year that doesn't have its warts. This tournament is going to be entertaining.

Riddle me this. Is Kiyomi McMiller actually still at Rutgers? She hasn't played since 2/6. I can't find anything about an injury or suspension or hitting the portal. Been a strange year. Also, I'm a little curious how she was an All Big 10 Honorable Mention selection but only played in 10 conference games.

Nebraska with no trouble at all against Rutgers 84-60.

Hats off to Washington for their win over my hometown team Minnesota. My Gophers just ran out of gas in that 2nd half.

Iowa cruising against Wisconsin. Drama free but maybe not very interesting Day 1 of the B1G tourney.

You can blame the BIG voting media. The coaches didn’t pick McMiller. Also, to be HM by the media, all it takes is for 1 media member to rank you as the # 20 player (or better) in the BiG. With that process, the media picked 22 players as HM, after picking 21 (due to tie) for the 1st and 2nd teams.
