Tell me about the NEW Big Ten

Terps pull off huge win at home against Michigan and their star freshmen duo. Te-Biasu with a great 2nd half to lead the Terps to victory.

Sadly, the main story line was Shyanne Sellers injury with 15 seconds left in the game. She had to be carried off the court. Rough season for her.

Northwestern goes on the road to Rutgers and picks up the win. Battle to stay out of the cellar is intensifying. Penn St. has it all to themselves at the moment.

Big Ten Season is down to a few games. Minnesota has 3 games, Purdue, Washington, Michigan State, left and a chance to get 20 plus wins on the season. Hopefully they don't overlook any of those teams.

I think they have to win out to feel safe. It's a little late in the game to not have a single Q1 win (especially given that they play in the B1G).

So far, Charlie Creme’s brackets don’t seem to care at all about the new Quad system. Creighton, Minnesota and Louisville collectively have 1 Quad 1 victory (1-16), are are currently projected as 8, 10 and 7 seeds, respectively. All seem overseeded. Will be interesting to see if the Committee cares about the new Quad system.

Maybe Markowski is getting that feeling like her career is winding down and she's gonna make the most of the time left. Previous game against Illinois 28 pts/8 reb, tonight in OT against Oregon w/ less than a minute left 34 pts/14 reb.

Rimdal has been playing really well lately for Nebraska also.

The blob in the B1G is still really blobby. #3-#10 between 11-3 and 8-8.

Another smaller blob at the bottom. 2 teams clearly on top...and then you've got one team all by themselves in between the 2 blobs. Guess who?

That damn accordion effect of chaos ;)

Charlie Creme has all of those teams above Washington in the standings projected as NCAA tournament teams.

12, that's pretty good. Anyone know the most from one conference? Probably SEC some year. Or maybe the Old Big East when it had what, 18 teams? With conferences getting bigger and bigger, that number might keep growing.

Anyway, I haven't looked closely at the resumes of the various teams. It's gotta be fairly difficult to distinguish among some of them. Also haven't looked at a full run down of all the teams projected in. I'm guessing the bubble is soft, as it usually is.

Creme currently has Washington in as the one last teams in a brings the total to 13.

That is unbelievable to me. The bubble must be extremely soft. As a Washington fan, I'll be the first to say they don't deserve a bid.

Ohio State loses to Indiana by 10.

Gotta bring this GIF back. Chaos is back ;)

Maryland was up 18 at the half on the road against Northwestern. Now in hang on mode in the closing seconds.

It's a good thing the LA schools joined up, because if Ohio St. and Maryland were the top 2 teams in the B1G, that would be SOFT.

So true, the legacy BIG teams took a big step down this year. Lots of good legacy BIG teams, but maybe only 0-1 will host this year in the tournament, after 7 hosting over the last two seasons.

Dang, Betts is back but Barker went out with a knee injury during the first half. She walked off the floor right after it happened so hopefully not too serious.

Washington has run the gauntlet, going 5-0 against the dregs of the B1G. I think I might've traded one embarrassing loss for a quality win...but I'm not capable of brokering deals like that. Winning isn't so hard when you shoot 60% overall and 50% from 3. Well that and it's easier to win against bad teams.

That 4th quarter melt down against USC seems to have zapped UCLA's mojo. Have struggled since w/ Michigan St. and now Illinois.
