Just watched the last 5 minutes of the first half of the NC State/Rutgers game. It was a whistle fest, I don't think there was a single possession where a whistle wasn't blown. However, after being down 14 in the last 5 minutes, Rutgers closed the half with a 11-0 run.

Duke looks pretty good. JPM's teams usually have the problem of stagnant half court offense. No such trouble against Ohio State's lackadaisical "defense".

Duke up 9 after 1 quarter. I really don't see any improvement in OSU's defense, or for that matter the offense.

Duke however do look more fluid, but that may be due to the lackluster defense they are playing against and that they are hitting their 3s.

Duke running a patient offense. Brown has come to play tonight shooting with confidence. Mathias has been surprisingly effective inside against Mavunga who has played so far without the passion we've seen in other games. Mitchell came out distributing the ball and it payed off early with some 3's by Harper, but we know that will only last for so long. Duke at 58% from the floor leads 26-17 at the quarter.

When OSU actually run offense, they end up with good shots, unfortunately they still have too many possessions with only one or two passes and a contested shot.

Duke are getting too many good looks both inside and out.
