BTW, Sue Bird is the co-winner (with Ruth Riley) of the WNBA's 2011 Kim Perrot Sportsmanship award. This award is given to the player who exemplifies the ideals of sportsmanship (ethical behavior, fair play and integrity) on the court. Sue and Riley both received 39 votes.
Kim Perrot played on two championship teams with the Houston Comets and died in 1999 after a seven-month battle with cancer.
