I'm rooting for Seattle. Swin, Sue and HH Jackson. it bothers me that Phx has no center (really), and play no real defense. Seattle's defense is so much more impressive. frankly i think it will be Atlanta vs. Seattle.

She could have punched that ref in the face and it would've been defensible for that criminal call.

Yup. Problem was the Storm needed someone else to make a shot. Jackson was just not herself and the others weren't able to step up. Did Katie Smith make a shot all night?

As for Diana, I've grown sick of her act. I can hardly believe I'm saying this but I've felt this way for a long time. She used to play the game with joy; she now plays angry and I don't enjoy watching her play anymore. The complaining to refs that goes on in the WNBA generally turns me off but Diana takes it to another level.

Having said that, the last foul on Diana was a joke.

There's the difference. As badly as Katie Smith and Swin Cash shot the ball, just shooting better at the line would have been the difference between winning and losing.

It was a painful game to watch on so many levels, but I did enjoy watching Penny Taylor and Sue Bird. Taylor grabbed 17 rebounds in addition to her 19 points. Bird played 37 minutes and scored 22 with zero turnovers. They both just play and come up big when their team needs them.

I don't know what word describes Lauren Jackson and the pain she had to have endured in that kind of physical game.
