Not only did he just do something no other player has done in 48 years (since Elvin Hayes in 1968), but he also had 3 rebounds on the most important possession of the game.

Tarris brought his hard hat and came to play tonight. Thank God. Saved us from a momumental upset.

That is a straight MAN GAME. Great job Tarris!

35 points in 27 rebounds. Without him, we don't win that game.

He needs his own thread. That was a loss without his beastly performance. Would've had 40 and 30 if they knew how to get him the ball and didn't jack up so many threes.

One of the all-time Husky performances.
If they got him the ball more he wouldn’t have as many rebounds :)

58 years actually

And there were guys on the Michigan boards saying Tarris Reed wouldn't even be a starter for the current Michigan team. Blasphemy.

What an all-time performance from Tarris.

That 3 offensive rebound possession towards the end of the game was its own dagger. Must have been absolutely crushing for Furman spirits.

He’s pushing himself toward being a 1st round pick. There is absolutely a place in the league for this kid.

The only thing that can limit him going forward is lack of touches. Staff needs to run EVERYTHING through him. It’s like they forget he is a very capable passer.

Missing a mid range game and also not super Athletic or super long. Good college player but dont think he sniffs tbe first round based on how the game is nowadays in tbe NBA.

The jacked 3s were a direct impact to his rebounding

Was particularly impressed with his intention and focus. Pedal to the metal for the whole game. Can't believe that he only shot 9 FTs- He was getting hammered/held all game long. Wasn't going to let us lose last night. Iconic- epic-dominant game.

Tarris was on. His limitation has been missing too many easy ones. If this gives him the confidence to be a star going forward, we might have something here as long as the shooters can snap out of it.

It always felt like Reed should be capable of something like this, so I'm really happy for him to do it on this stage when we really needed it.
I think this is what the staff always saw in him. I always say, he’s extremely talented. I expected much more out of him this season. He just misses too many bunnies and some games he doesn’t really come to play. This was the Tarris that Dan Hurley expected. For him to do it without Silas and with Solo and Braylon playing absolutely awful was a gift from God.

Unbelievable game by Tarris. The coaches have known this was in him and have been trying to coax it out of him all year. Long live the grizzly bear.
