There is no way Lecque reclassifies to be on a team with six active guards.

Maybe these guys won’t commit on their visits, but we are by far both of their best options so I’m sure they’ll want to.

If nobody transfers, we have enough bigs, especially with a small lineup most of the time. I'd actually prefer a more pure Wing player.

Offers generally aren't reported for transfers. Bringing him in for an official visit is as good a sign that UConn wants him here.

Six guards, two wings and five bigs sounds ok to me given Gilbert's injury history.
 
Got to take into account Gilbert's injuries and if Lecque is as good as advertised he will be on the floor.

Maybe Dan Hurley is taking the first one to commit even further, and he's bringing them both to campus in a race to commit from the same room

Yea because articles from 5 months ago are useful? Freshman are reporting to UConn in 2 months I would think he should make his plans clear soon, the fact that we have 2 guards on campus show Hurley’s level of confidence. It’s a dream, wake up he’s not coming.

Andre Drummond announced he was coming to UConn on August 26th a few years ago. Two months is an eternity in the recruiting game, and to be honest he really has 4+ months to decide.

Andre was from CT?? Also visited the school. Also wasn’t in an era where social media covers everything. I don’t know why people think we can get this kid we couldn’t even get kids ranked this high under Calhoun.

Source?? This is from me being realistic. Why do you believe a player ranked at his caliber is coming to UConn over Kentucky, UNC ?

Donyell Marshall, Rip Hamilton, Khalid el-Amin, Charlie Villanueva, Rudy Gay, Andrew Bynum (sigh), Kemba Walker, and I'm probably missing some other top 15-20 players. That guys gotta be trolling, right?
 
Just like I have the right to be confident in the fact that we aren’t landing one of the best players this program has ever landed after a 14-18 season.

This kid is ranked 10th overall. Drummond was 2. Rudy and Charlie were both top 10. This would be one of very few players ranked In top 10 and you think he’s coming after 2 losing seasons.

Because in the modern era, we win more championships than they do. He's a NY kid. We've landed our share. Not saying he will come, just saying that I believe the interest is genuine. He's not saying..."UConn? Are you kidding?" as you seem to suggest.

I don't think he's saying that, I just thinks he takes it as any other offer. Hopefully I'm wrong. interest is one thing people including him in next years plans is funny.
