This is a big loss for us. He was a really active part of our player’s lives. Assistant at Iona? He would have been an assistant here in short order. Danny’s ability to keep people around was once viewed as a strength.

One of the responsibilities of a HC is to encourage/promote/advocate on behalf of their staff to pursue their professional dreams and allow them to actualize those dreams with new positions . Inside and outside of the Program.

Taliek deserves that chance.. Got it.. And went with it as he should. DH did not stand in his way.. Matter of fact.. Wouldn't at all be surprised if JC/DH encouraged Pitino to extend the offer to TB.. Excellent move for TB to strengthen his resume for a HC position down the road.
