T-shirts? | Page 2 | The Boneyard

T-shirts?

You also have to remember that a guy wearing a shirt with 'The Boneyard' out in public is going to be misconstrued by many....
Oh yeah. Like back in the old days, walking up to a guy in a UConn shirt at the Blarney Stone and asking him "Are you from the Boneyard?" Tricky situation for sure.

I have a Yard hoodie tucked away somewhere. I'll try to dig it out.

Not yet! It's still on my list of things I want to do. Thinking about an ice cream shop now and have read up a little on that.
I have the hoodie in a closet in NH - I'll take a pic when I get back up there next week. There was a flaming hoop on the back.

There were a few different tee shirts for the BYC.

I think the first one was white. I know there were hats for a while because I have one.

What happened with chickens?

Don't know why or how, but this is my current inventory...

I think I bought two 77-74 clings back in 1999. I put one on my car. Then 3 years later, I got a new car and I put the other one on that car and felt proud of myself for such good planning. Then, years later, that car got totalled. I tried to peal the cling off the window but it was literally glued on after all those years in the sun. I suddenly didn't feel proud of myself anymore. ;-)

I like it, but I want UConn Basketball somewhere on it.

I did a shirt years ago with a player's name on it. UConn came after me. I would suggest staying away from any copyright infringement. Although not sure if just using the words constitutes that.

GREAT Link! Thanks for posting!
Interesting article.

Any metaphors that can be gleaned from the quoted portion that apply to the BY as we know it?

With the area's low humidity in the 10%-20% range, meager rainfall of 11" annually, hard alkaline soil, and high altitude of 2,550 feet allowing the aircraft to be naturally preserved for cannibalization or possible reuse, Davis-Monthan is the logical choice for a major storage facility.

Like the BY is the logical choice for a major storage facility of UConn basketball history, or some other metaphors?
