So since 2000, here are some numbers in terms of performance in the Big Dance:

Cuse
1 National Championship
3 Final Fours
3 Elite Eights
8 Sweet Sixteens

UConn
3 National Championships
4 Final Fours
6 Elite Eights
7 Sweet Sixteens

I think our resume looks pretty good next to theirs.

It really is curious that Cuse is the one school whose fan base dislikes the idea of continuing their regional rivalry.

Wonder why that is

They'd rather get their butt kicked by irrelevant PAC schools?

Syracuse is going down that oh so familiar path of road and neutral site losses with cupcake Home wins. They will be .500 + or - in league play and on the tourney bubble. They still have some moderately challenging OOC games with G’town, Ohio st (away) and Northeastern and Buffalo. Will be interesting for the tourney resume if they drop 1 or 2 of those.

Syracuse will NEVER win an ACC regular season or conference tourney. period.

there is not a bigger cesspool infested with as many mouth breathing whiskey tango mongoloids this side of the mason-dixon.

they're nothing but a bunch of cornell rejects flushing $45k/year down the toilet so they can major in communications and pretend to have their own sports talk shows.

"boheim" wins games. our coaches win CHAMPIONSHIPS.

P.S. who gives a bleep what they say on their message board. they can talk after they hang banner #4.

FIFY, I think you were a year off on where you snapped the chalkline.

Should we let them know Melo just got cut?

Teams get better without him in more recent years, and the Rockets were absolutely horrible with him.

Yeah, that was wrong on your part.

No. I purposely took a view that could in no way be considered favorable to UConn and UConn still came out on top by a fair amount.

I don't think enough people have noted just how plucky Syracuse was Thursday. They showed so much grit. They're a gritty scrappy bunch.

(Old board trope for those who are confused)
I noted that they had lost their former pluck and grit, is that close enough?

The whole game they had the rosters on both teams reversed - it was hilarious and comical that nobody corrected it all night

Working in the world of data, that is a fire-able offense.
