You guys and your arbitrary criteria are hilarious. As if anyone really cares whether you lost in the S16 or E8 (it makes for some nice message board smack though, so there's that). If we got to play Ga Tech or Butler instead of Indiana and Kentucky in 87/96 I guess everyone would forget about March failures that every good program endures just like everyone forgets San Diego, NC St & George Mason.
You did play Butler. You lost to them in the Sweet 16 in 2010 when you were a 1 seed.
Right, but I think the point is Cuse just has a lot more to forget than UConn...ENDURE!!

5seed, 1 basket from winning a Nat'l title playing said 1seed without a key player = 9 seed who had to beat VCU in the F4. Yah same thing.
Dude, you just got owned by a chick. It's time for bed. Sleep it off champ
you guys act like somehow this thing is over. i'm only 35 there is like 50 years left of this thing. it's 3-1 now but i've overcome bigger deficits. this rivalry is not over by a long shot.

and for the record, no one cares who had it easy or hard en route to a NC. UCONN has 3. last year's NC was not an exhibition in style points, but the only people who care are those who try to "lessen" the quality of the NC....anyone who talks about how UCON had it "'easy" in 2004 by playing a #3 seed in GT in the finals has no clue. We were a 2 seed and beat overall #1 Dook in the semis. That was the true title game.
you guys are hilariously predictable.
My god were those hideous shorts.
I think you nailed it. A lot of nervous energy emanating from that fan base, but you can't really blame them -- anything less than a Final Four will be seen as a crushing disappointment, yet this week they looked exactly like early exit fodder. This is hilarious, still trying to figure out why Cuse fans are on our board trying to defend their suckiness in past tournaments. They are a #1 seed, shouldn't they be on their own board talking about trying to win it all this year, the pressure is getting to them.
