Why is Iowa St. refusing to guard the 3 pt line?

It's a 3 point shooting contest so far, Syracuse is winning. 12-3, all the points are on 3 balls. 3 1/2 minutes in.

Iowa St. looks very slow and nonathletic to me.

Another one for the Cuse. It's been mostly Gabby Cooper, she's 4-7. Somebody hit a pair of FTs, first points that didn't come from behind the arc. 17-3 Cuse.

I've never even heard of Cooper before. She now has 15 points in less than 6 minutes. 22-6 Syracuse, only one 2 point FG has been made combined by both teams. Strange game.

I guess if your name is Gabby (or close), you are a star. Gabriellr Cooper is single handedly dismantling Iowa St.

Before the official brackets came out, I kept seeing Syracuse projected as a #6 seed in Seattle. I'm really glad they are not out here.

They have the perfect "David strategy" offense that can produce upsets. This was set up by the Committee intentionally and they will get the matchup they wanted.

The committee loaded our bracket with team that can score and can shoot. Even screwed teams out of their rightful seeds to do so. Do not think for one second it was an accident.
