Sweet Sixteen 3/24

Yeah my brackets got worse. All of them had the Zags in the FF. But I have Zona winning it all.

Same

Need zona/Kansas in ff for my bracket to not be a dumpster fire

I had Zona winning it all when the brackets came out. I think Zona gets through the Cougars and the Zona Nova game will decide the national champion.

He's a really good coach. He has a .750 win % all time as an NCAA head coach, basically just behind Self, K, and Calipari
He is but there's some stat padding there coaching in the WCC. Starting to wonder if he'll ever win one.

Whoopsie, misread that one.

You just can't trust mid-majors, no matter how consistently good they are in the regular season. Eventually the power conference schools find ways to beat them when it matters. Not always, but more often than not.

I won't believe Gonzaga will ever win an NC until I see them actually do it. How many more years can they play at this level though?
They won’t win unless they join the Big East.

They need better competition in conference play, which they don’t have.

Houston is the only school that is currently out of the power 6 conferences although they will be soon in a power conference that I can see winning a title.

Rooting against: Duke, UNC, UCLA, Nova, Kansas. The teams that have a chance to win the whole thing that are acceptable: Arkansas, Tech, Purdue, Arizona, Houston, and Providence. Really need Duke to go down tonight.

I just heard his name but I missed the context. They have some sort of group chat or something?
Yeah just Kenny and a bunch of NYC guys all texting about Holloway. Someone named Dane he also mentioned

.-.
The Kimani shout-out got me thinking, does he get a look to replace Holloway when he leaves for Seton Hall?

A strong gust of wind will blow Chet over right now. I just don't see how he's going to compete against the full grown men in the NBA. I see comparisons to Durant, but even Durant didn't have this build.
check out the colors on his arms below the elbow -he's been getting whacked, hard, on them since day one. after a while, all that whacking leaves a broad pinkish/greyish tone. he should get some kevlar sleeve things.

Some thin spreads in the late games. Vegas is predicting close ones.

And there’s a large contingent that think Hurley is a better coach than Musselman.

I’m glad UConn has Hurley and he’ll be here for at least a few more years but Musselman is a better coach with better pedigree and better track record
I really like Dan Hurley and am glad to have him, ut Musselman has now been to the Elite 8 three times with 2 different teams. He is a great coach, best in the SEC, by far.

Kenny has shouted out kimani several times, including after the win over Nova. Something there.

Musselman really depends on the officiating because his teams go fishing for fouls on every possession.

This Gonzaga team was not close to being as talented as last year’s. Overrated all year long. Props to Arkansas. This thing is wide open as we all expected.

Nova taking care of business. Now to flip between Soccer and the second slate of games.

Great win tonight, Gonzaga. Better?
Not sure what you're getting at. I'm not the one coming up with Twitter posts trying to knock Gonzaga in the tournament when they've won lots of games recently, 22 to our 1 win the past 8 years. Arkansas won. They played better down the stretch. Does this make you feel better about UConn?
