How do you figure? Which one do you have an issue with? Cam Ward is the only real stretch for me and I'm going off age/ability there. I'll give you that one.

Williams, Lawrence, Purdy and Nix are undeniable.

Maye is light years better than Ward or Nix. He's far ahead of anything Lawrence has shown. Lawrence was considered all but a bust in his 2nd year in the league and this year, his best, was not as good as Maye's despite having elite WR talent and a very good OL. Purdy is reliable but his upside is minimal. This is what he is, ok. Williams is the only one that's close. That's a push for me, but I'd prefer Maye for the Patriots offense. Daniels had a great rookie year, but I think he's RGIII 2.0. He's older and far more fragile.

What is the fascination with Nix? He's a scrappy game manager who is a good scrambler. Not much of an arm, but gets by in Payton's run heavy system. He's similar to Purdy in that regard. High floor, low ceiling players. Certainly good enough on the right team or in the right system.

I think you have Jets colored glasses on. Look at the stats. Maye had a higher completion %, more yards, more yards per attempt, a higher QB rating, more TDs and fewer INTs than any of your guys. And that was behind a weak OL and under more pressure than any of them faced. Also had the highest air yards per attempt in the league, he wasn't dumping it off. Led the league in passing success rate. So the guy who threw the ball the deepest on average and also had the highest completion percentage is not as good as dump off artist Bo Nix? He threw for 470 more yards on 120 fewer attempts.

Yeah, I'm not going to say there's some wishful thinking there. We've also been through the Mac Jones glazing and (insert the list of excuses here) he's a backup in SF. Not saying that's Maye's fate, but the postseason and bright lights on him certainly didn't do any favors.

Even in his poor performance in the Super Bowl, under extreme pressure against the best D in the league he had 295 yards passing, 37 rushing and a much better completion percentage than Darnold. Seems clear his shoulder wasn't right. Solid foundation, but a very tough schedule next year, not just because of the change in standings but because they get the NFC North, so Green Bay, Detroit, Minnesota and Chicago. No easy games there.

The OL has to be better. Tight End needs an upgrade, Henry faded down the stretch. They need an Edge who can defend wide zone runs and rush the passer (Chaisson is a pass rusher, Jennings good vs run). They need an upgrade and more speed at linebacker. WR is a slight need but most of that can be solved with Tight End play. They need a reliable chain mover.

I think they are a 10-11 game winning team next year. Right now the Chargers and Jags are the most talented teams in the AFC. I think people are going to be surprised that the big name QBs are on bad teams. The Ravens and Bengals have lousy rosters. Buffalo has way more holes to fill than New England does and so do the Chiefs. Houston could be good if you think Stroud can bounce back. Denver scraped by winning close games against a schedule almost as bad as the Patriots', they aren't going to win that many again next year.

Lolz, The Schedule had all his passing yards in garbage time when Seattle took their foot off the gas.

I'm going to disagree with that first statement. Maye is 23 and I'd take the following QB's over him right now (with a cut off of age 25).

Trevor Lawrence: 25
Brock Purdy: 25
Jayden Daniels: 24
C.J. Stroud: 23
Caleb Williams: 23
Cameron Ward: 23

Put that to 27 and I'd take Herbert, Jordan Love and maybe/probably Jalen Hurts.

And you are REALLY trying to make a silk purse out of a pig's ear taking ANYTHING positive from his SB performance. It was horrific in every aspect.

It's an incredibly weak crop of young quarterbacks The Schedule included.

Struggled with a good Saints pass D and against Philly and the Browns. He's got talent but his execution is behind.

He had an awful Super Bowl until the Seahawks pulled the dreaded prevent defense out. Those numbers were inflated by that I’m afraid. Not to say I still think he’s a real good one. More to see next year. Still think they win 10-11 that schedule isn’t all that much harder, but it has to be just because.

Yeah. NE's offense was horrid from play calling to execution. Just two weeks earlier, Stafford was rushed and harassed and still put up 37 pts against that same defense. Obviously offense can be had.
