Wow, Utah. Just like last year, totally faded on the back half of the conference schedule. Coach Roberts has to figure out a way to keep her team focused throughout the 18 game sched. Absolutely killer loss for them today. Well, kudos to ASU for not giving up during a game they were getting thoroughly outplayed.

Cal @ UCLA just getting going, important for both. UCLA needs a win to keep on ASU's tail for the #4 spot (and bye in the first round of the conference tourney), I honestly think Cal is close to finding themselves on the wrong side of the bubble. 10-5 Bruins, they're scorching the nets.

Jack the giant killer has struck again. Miami knocked off Notre Dame, now Louisville. I’m starting to become a Miami fan.

Miami shot 55% overall and 75% from behind the arc. They climbed their way out of a 1st quarter deficit and won it with a strong 4th quarter - at Louisville!

Good one so far. Cal up 22-19 after Q1. Asha Thomas came to play today, raining 3's. Anigwe doing her thing. Onyenwere is ballin' for UCLA.

edit--Anigwe is on the verge of passing Lisa Leslie for #5 on the all time Pac 12 scoring list.

Nobody else? Miami-Louisville was a heck of a game, if it wasn't for that I'd say this is the best game of the day. The antithesis of USC-Stanford. Both teams playing great and ripping the nets. 31-27 UCLA midway thru Q2. Onyenwere is a stud.

So anybody notice Ohio St. edged Wisconsin and pushed their conference record to 8-7? Who would've guessed that back in December?

Kevin McGuff, Big Ten Coach of the Year :)

Didn't know much about Miami, but WOW! I like to watch the coaches on the sidelines. Miami's coach is extremely calm, and it seemed her team also was calm in pressure situations today. Congrats to Miami for their improved play as they come through the back half of the season!

Their center Hof was exceptional. She has really raised the level of her play. She was interviewed after the game. (Swedish Dutch). A real nice kid. Very charming.

Anigwe is now also #5 in Pac 12 history in rebounding. Passed Osahor (I'm really surprised she was that high on the list; she had a monster Sr. year but played sparingly early in her career).

UCLA went on a big run, up 39-30 approaching halftime.

Very nice kid. I've been following she and her fellow countryman, Laura Cornelius for 4 years. Shes' got the blonde hair, but she's Dutch, as is Cornelius.

Heck of a player, that Hof. She and Mompremier present quite a challenge as a 1-2 post punch.

And I've always, always been a fan of Katie Meier. Duke would be smart to bring their alum home, but Katie has set up her own shop in Coral Gables.

BTW, there is a very good Swedish player in the ACC, but she plays for Virginia Tech -- Regan Megarity, also a senior.

43-33 UCLA at half. 17 points 8 boards 7-10 shooting for Anigwe. 16 points for Dean and 15 for Onyenwere.

I wonder if i can convince the gym to put on a WCBB game on one the TV's to watch while I burn off these donuts on the treadmill

Wonder if Geno, based on the way those 2 played today, would like to have an 'Elligible' Courtney Ekmark and AEH on this year's team
Ugh. Really??

Geno must really think Griffin is special, after the experiences he had with Chong & AEH. Hope he's right. If I were him I'd have already been done with habitually underperforming Ossining players.

Iowa smokes Maryland. Megan Gustafson got loose on the turtles.

Sorry. Apparently I misheard the announcers.

UCLA was up 14 early in Q3, but Cal is storming back. On a 9-0 run and shooting an and-1 after the media TO.

I agree that Cal is far from safe. I think they'd be in if the season ended today.

I'm trying to watch this game but I really can't take Tammy Blackburn's incessant babbling.

Someone noted Anriel Howard's return to Texas A&M today. I wasn't even thinking of it, Cal's Reece Caldwell starter her career at UCLA where today's game is being played.

Cal cut it to 1, UCLA went back up 8, back to 1 again at the end of Q3 Quite a battle going on.

Mute button! I guess I'm immune to her, she doesn't really get on my nerves like she does to you. I figure if I can listen to Bill Walton, I can handle ANYTHING.
