Terrible FT shooting by our ladies down the stretch. Have got to be better in the Tournaments.
But glad to win a second SEC regular season title. Very proud of the second half. Played very well overall with the exception of the FT shooting (which we are normally very good at).

NC State is about to tough out an important win vs. Miami, up 4 and have the ball with 18 secs left.. This will keep them very much in the hunt for a 2 seed.

So Carolina lost this game because they couldn't get Rebounds down the stretch. Miss ST tried to give them the game and So Carolina didn't take it.

They fouled, I believe at the 38.5 mark, why they fouled there with only 2 points, could not understand to put Miss St at free throw line...as you said then they don't foul until too late.

Final: NC State beats Miami and wins 70-68. Wolfpack Women now 25-4, 12-4 ACC. Miami falls to 24-7, 12-4 ACC.

NC State takes the 3 seed in the ACCT (highest in 15 seasons). Miami takes the 4 seed.

For the Game, So Carolina probably missed more then 6 Layups. But even with the missed layups, they could have pulled out the game, if they could just get a couple of Rebounds.

Miss St can afford to keep shooting knowing their misses will be sucked up by either McCowan or Howard and if McCowan it's a put back.
