Sunday (3/3) games

McCowan takes the biggest beating because how big she is. It reminds me when Shaq use to get fouled every time down the court and refs stop calling fouls. McCowan gets fouled more than any player in NCAA and gets 1/4 of the calls. That being said. SC is playing better than State.

She isn't fouled anymore than Brown....they are the same size.

Now GA calls time. 20.2 seconds left.

GA scores, 55-53 KY 15.9 seconds. KY time out

I've barely watched some snippets of the GA-KY game but it looks like a bona fide rock fight.

Kentucky up by 2 and has the ball. Will need to protect the ball and make some foul shots to seal this one.

Even in a down year..... Senior night vs the Cheaters results in an sellout crowd

Stephanie Watts of UNC is still out with injury. That's a big absence for the Tar Heels.

Sounds like there are more than a few Tar Heel fans who made the trip.

Yeah... sadly.. they have alot of fans in the Triangle.... and its pretty easy to get to Cameron..... alot easier to get to Cameron than it is to Carmicheal (the cheater's arena). They always bring a few hundred fans..... most clad in that hideous shade of blue. Fortunately, they usually leave Durham pretty disappointed.

End of 1st quarter...NC State leads Miami, 17-15, finishing the quarter on a 13-4 run. DD Rogers with 8 points...already 3 more than her season average.

Looks like 1st'/2nd rounds will be

5 Syr // 12 UVa - BC
6 FSU // 11 Duk - Pitt
7 Clm // 10 VaT - Wake
8 UNC v GaT

Kentucky hangs on to beat Georgia, 58-53.
That seals up a double bye for KY in the SECT.
It also means that MSU will be the #1 seed even if they lose to SC today.

That was one of the ugliest games I've seen in awhile.

Next?

I like how Espinoza-Hunter is playing for Miss St. Have to believe this UConn team would be better with her on it. I've been told that Anriel Howard may have come to UConn if Espinoza-Hunter had stayed.

Obviously if Hunter had stayed, Christyn would not have gotten the minutes she has this year.

Duke beats UNC to move to .500 ... can the BDs squeak out an ACCT win and get a WNIT or WBI bid?

I guarantee ONE ACC win...... GUARANTEED

..... anything after that.... well

State looking bad, USCe outplaying us. No complaints about the officials here. We already understand that you are playing 5 on 8 when you are playing at Columbia. So in that vein just play basketball and find a way to win the game.

Plus if we don’t play better in the second half, we will not give ourselves a chance to win anyway.

LSU and Auburn is about to play

Anyone want to predict the amount of turnovers?
Auburn averages more than 20 turnovers forced per game, 3rd among power 5 teams.

That was clever how you said "no complaints" and then proceeded to complain.

4:54 left 2nd quarter...Miami leading NC State, 26-23. DD Rogers with 10 points and Elissa Cunane 6 for the Wolfpack Women. Rogers on her way to a double-double, with 6 rebounds.

It's not the official's fault that we aren't winning. South Carolina is a good team that has a lot of pieces to make a run. We knew this would be a knock down, drag out.

Creme just said KY needs 2 wins in the SECT to host ... that would mean making the final, so ...

I see Ohio State leads Rutgers by 10 early in 3Q. A win here would put OSU at 11-7 in the Big 10.

I think for So Carolina to win this game, they're going to have to shoot better then 50% for the half and minimize their turn overs. If So Carolina shoots less then 50%, Miss ST will own the boards.
