Sunday (3/3) games

State looking bad, USCe outplaying us. No complaints about the officials here. We already understand that you are playing 5 on 8 when you are playing at Columbia. So in that vein just play basketball and find a way to win the game.

Plus if we don’t play better in the second half, we will not give ourselves a chance to win anyway.

Auburn averages more than 20 turnovers forced per game, 3rd among power 5 teams.

That was clever how you said "no complaints" and then proceeded to complain.
 
4:54 left 2nd quarter...Miami leading NC State, 26-23. DD Rogers with 10 points and Elissa Cunane 6 for the Wolfpack Women. Rogers on her way to a double-double, with 6 rebounds.

It's not the official's fault that we aren't winning. South Carolina is a good team that has a lot of pieces to make a run. We knew this would be a knock down, drag out.

Creme just said KY needs 2 wins in the SECT to host ... that would mean making the final, so ...
 
I see Ohio State leads Rutgers by 10 early in 3Q. A win here would put OSU at 11-7 in the Big 10.
 
I think for So Carolina to win this game, they're going to have to shoot better then 50% for the half and minimize their turn overs. If So Carolina shoots less then 50%, Miss ST will own the boards.
 
Arizona St. is doing their thing, totally uglying up the game w/ Oregon so far. 7-5 Ducks 3:45 in Q1.

Halftime in Raleigh: Miami leads NC State, 38-30.

Kiara Leslie having an off game, with just two shots made for 5 points. NC State really needs her to take over in the second half.
 
In another SEC scoring extravaganza, Vandy and Florida (combined record of 13-43) are battling it out. Florida leads 12-10 after 8 minutes of play in the first quarter
 
So Carolina has scored 2 points in five minutes of play in the 3rd quarter. Miss St has scored 11 and lead 43-41. Some of So Carolina missed shots were layups on drives to the basket.
 
Predict Miss ST wins this game going away.

The usc team that ran and made shots was fun while it lasted.

No complaints here. When I was in HS, our team won the State Championship and we played against a bias all year with referees.
Coach just said don’t worry about and still find a way to win anyway.

Connecticut has played with that type mentality over the years. I give them credit for it.

My point being it is going to be like that so just play basketball and win.
 
It’s 14-13 Florida at the end of Q1 and I’m done. I’d rather go throw some laundry in the washing machine than watch this disaster

Creighton up 52-44 over DePaul with about 2 minutes remaining in the third quarter
 
So Carolina scored 8 points in the 3rd Quarter. Miss St 19 points. So Carolina still in the game only trailing by 4 points 51-47. So Carolina was unable to get any of the Miss ST players to have 4 fouls. IMO Miss ST wins by double digits.

I am not faulting the officials. In the first half USCe was better than us. My point is that in this game we are not going to get the calls. So if you understand that up front and just play basketball. That is why I said I give credit to Connecticut for playing through that as well.,

I openly encourage Tennessee to bring Nikki back as an assistant

I will say that the officials (State-USCe) let both teams get away with moving screens the whole game, so I hope they don’t get whistle happy in fourth with illegal screens.

I’m sorry, but I missed when she thought she was “all that.” Watching her today, she is always the first to help a teammate up and she is the one providing much of the vocal support in the huddle. She seems rather reserved as well. Vic seems to have straightened out anything that was wrong.
