Didn't see a thread for this.

NCState outsored VaTech 31-8 in the 2nd quarter and has taken control of the game, leading 50-28 at halftime. There was a 4-minute stretch when the Wolfpack Women were on a 16-0 run and it was some of the most beautiful team basketball I have seen them play in a few weeks.

All the ranked ACC teams playing today have either won or are leading big.

ND beat Georgia Tech 90-69.
Miami leads Clemson.
Duke up on Pitt.

TENN just can't 'finish" a game. Looked like they were pulling away from A&M and now it's tied at 59 with a couple minutes to play.

Tennessee loses another one. Wow! Talk about winning the biggest, but losing games you're supposed to win!

Final from Raleigh: NCState beat VaTech, 85-71, though that score doesn't reflect how dominant the Wolfpack was in this game. The starters sat for most of the 4th quarter, giving some lesser-used players valuable game experience.

Aggies now solidly in 3rd place in sec and on the cusp of a top 16 ranking from the committee.

14. So there is plenty of time left in the season for them to equal that

Next 3 games are with 3 of the 4 weakest teams in the conference. (Ala ark fla) Then Miss st.
They'll go 3-1.

Wow! 23 losses in two seasons for Tennessee! That has to be as many as UT has lost in several seasons combined.

List of UCLA Bruins men's basketball head coaches - Wikipedia

UCLA after Wooden began to slide quickly. Yet in the four years after Wooden, the UCLA men lost just 17 games. For six years, UCLA changed coaches every two years. Larry Brown lost 17 games in his two-year stint.

You wonder how long they are going to stick with HW. Next year might be pivotal: best recruiting class in years. If she loses in double-digits, might mean UT's patience will run out.

They will probably give her a couple of years to "gel" that class. Freshmen are usually counted on for a run of inconsistency their first season of play. The issue I see in Warlick's tenure is a lack of player development from freshmen to junior years.
