Blue Devils Host Syracuse for Mental Wealth Day

Mental Wealth Day - Sunday...
Duke, in partnership with The Jed Foundation (JED), Duke University CAPS and the NBA, is excited to host the first “Mental Wealth Day” for mental health awareness.

Along with the highly competitive game, “Mental Wealth Day” will feature workshops on relevant mental health topics including a mindfulness training and sharing real life stories of current and former athletes, including former collegiate and WNBA legend and JED Ambassador, Chamique Holdsclaw. Holdsclaw will participate as the pre-game keynote speaker, discussing her personal experience with mental health and her advocacy for JED.

With Tenn. big win against LSU today, and another big win against Florida next, shouldn't that be enough to put them back in the top ten?

They were up the whole game.... 54-47 with about 2 minutes and 30 seconds left.... ended up losing 56-54. They didnt score the last 5 minutes of the game. Emery missed two go ahead jumpers with under 15 seconds to go. Baby Mabrey missed a 3 that would have won the game in the dying seconds.

Whoa. VT seems cursed. They also coughed up a huge lead against Virginia.
 
10-2 run for Wazzu. 43-33. First to 48 wins. 5:58 left. This game is putrid. OSU was 2-16 behind the arc after a 8-13 start on Friday, 4-16 today. So much for being the best 3 point shooting team in the country.
 
Virginia is now making a game of it= Wake Forest's lead has been cut to 6, 8:50 left 4th quarter

52-35 Oregon St. under a minute left. This one was a stinker. Pivec was great w/ 19 points 9 rebounds 9-12 shooting. The rest of the team was sleep walking. They did manage to fairly much shut down Bobbi Buckets though.
 
Illinois has had a disastrous 4th quarter vs. Northwestern to spoil their chance at a 2nd Big Ten win.
After leading by 11 with 1:00 left in 3Q, they went scoreless for about 8:30 and have been outscored 19-4 in 4Q.
Nancy Fahey has a long way to go with this program.
 
Wake Forests holds on to win 52-42 for their first ACC win of the year. Virginia is now 8-12 on the year

They mounted a decent comeback at one point WF was up by 16 & threatening to really blow it out

Last year. Beat Cal in the 1st round and then lost to South Carolina.

I don't think we will go in as #1. I am guessing that's still Baylor.... no one seems to think UConn as top dog this year and I'm good with that mindset.

If UConn wins out and Baylor loses a game, UConn will be #1.
 
Looks like Arizona St. will survive. Up 64-56 w/ 44 seconds left. USC will drop to 1-7 in conference. Wow, they seem like a better team than that. Pac 12 is fairly brutal.

They have the ingredients to be a top Tier ACC team. Fertile recruiting area, Top notch academic school... beautiful campus in a great town, nice modern arena to play in.
