I’ve been wondering why he’s practicing on the women’s side?

Apostolos is an afterthought by most fans, but he can only go up, as far as a contributor. He has the frame and hopefully the shot to go along with it, plus, he had the benefit of learning from a team of studs who won the championship. I will go out on a limb and predict he will be a welcomed surprise and key contributor to the team "depth".

Didn’t sound like it lol

Having said that there may be something to this kid I’m interested to see how he looks year 2.
Ha. I'm excited to see if he makes a big jump as well but I'm worried about the painful BY attempts at finding him a nickname. I'd almost rather him sit all year just to avoid this.

Love it.
But what about 2006 peak June team or 2009 peak June team? Or are non-NC teams not in the running?
The 2006 highlights were on VHS and the 2009 on DVD (worst of all, neither was in high definition). They just aren't comparable with today's highlights.

I was just going to post asking when Stewart was going to be on campus. Nice all the pups are here ready to roll. This has been an awesome off season. Rocked my arrogant, and spoiled shirt at breakfast in a diner in Montville and had 4 husky conversations before I even sat down. Cool stuff.

What?

Maybe you are too oblivious to notice, but Hurley specializes at developing talent. We have seen guys like Polly and Whaley go from minor contributors to Big East 6th man of the year and Big East defensive player of the year. There is no reason to think Newton cannot make that kind of improvement. He already has the defensive part down and he had a knack for hitting clutch shots at Texas A&M.

You realize Newton is a transfer in his 5th year and not a sophomore...?

Edit- after a reread perhaps you meant Hassan Diarra?

How about this - before you get your panties all twisted up or insult somebody, maybe try using the correct names next time.

Yikes

Oh, oh, 429 won't like him bringing the ball down to his waist.

Hey now, I'm all about the dip.

He had a nice looking shot when I watched his games from this winter. Juat needs reps to get the % up past 35% and he'll be an asset.
