Yeah, use crutches to fake an injury.... 🙄For some reason I’ve been thinking the same thing
The lack of info means one thing - the university and / or the coaches don't care what you or anyone else thinks, that information is not for public consumption. It isn't nearly that complicated. I know some people oddly imagine they are entitled to know things about situations that are not any of their business, but deal with it.I don’t think anyone thinks it’s an act the lack of info just makes one wonder I might have missed it but don’t recall any detail on the injury just he’s injured and unavailable granted Hurley isn’t very forthcoming when it comes to injuries but this one just rings differently
Right before the Big East tournament started Hurley said Jaylin wouldn't be avaliable for the Big East tournament and he was in line to be available for the first round of the NCAA tournament.I think I read he would be ready if we make it to the S16.
It would have been nice to have him to send a message to Ball when his man is under the hoop drawing a foul on Reibe, who is trying to guard 2 men as a result, while Solo is watching from outside the 3 point line above the top of the key. Or for a few of the silly/stupid turnovers he had.Yesterday we needed Stew’s physicality. Not saying we win but it would have helped. Silas we wait on but we certainly need this team at full strength against tougher teams. Has Stew been practicing in any way?
This was also posted in the Stewart on crutches thread: Hurley said that, with no setbacks, Stewart is still "in line" to play in the NCAA Tournament, which begins next week. According to a source, Stewart probably wouldn't be ready until the tourney's second weekend.Right before the Big East tournament started Hurley said Jaylin wouldn't be avaliable for the Big East tournament and he was in line to be available for the first round of the NCAA tournament.
I don't think this will happen and I don't think we move off the 2 seed but it's certainly not as absurd a take as many things we've seen around here.I have no proof just a hunch that we won’t find out about Silas’s injury until after the tournament selection show. We have already possibly jeopardized our seeding with the loss and with any negative news on Silas, that could drop us down to a 3 seed.
I don't think UConn is going to be a 3 seed. They are firmly planted as 2 seed. As for the region they would be in, I have no idea.I have no proof just a hunch that we won’t find out about Silas’s injury until after the tournament selection show. Stew has a bone chip on his knee.Stewart has some sort of knee inflammation that is serious enough to warrant not playing, I read that he should be ready for the first or second round of the tourney.
Pullin’ the ol’ Paul Pierce.
