im not really sold on enoch. We will see once he takes his talents to nepsac
I've seen him ranked in the top 40 in some places now. What else is it you are looking for?

how much clearer could i have been? him playing in nepsac and not at norwalk. This summer circuit is nice, but if he were to perform well consistently vs sophisticated coaching i would be more convinced. he sort of just came out of nowhere thats why im weary. not that it matters, any of these bigs work in ollies scheme.I've seen him ranked in the top 40 in some places now. So out-playing some of the elite bigs this summer isn't a good enough body of work to convince you? I hope we land him.how much clearer could i have been? him playing in nepsac and not at norwalk. People that watch him play high school ball in Fairfield County say he doesn't have heart. But the talent is there - I trust KO to lock him up and show him our ways.im not really sold on enoch. We will see once he takes his talents to nepsac
“@Uconn4X: Steven Enoch in attendance at GHPA w/ rest of #Uconn family; Lamb, Boatright, & Drummond
@Tallflow @jlamb @AndreDrummondd
@Ryanboatright11”
UConn remains in the hunt for the former Norwalk High star who will play at St. Thomas More this winter. Former Husky and USA National Team hopeful Andre Drummond attended the same prep school and was coached by Enoch's AAU coach, George Matthews, growing up.
"We have an official visit, I think it's planned for September along with a couple other colleges," said Enoch, 16, who seems to attract a new college seeking his services every time he fires up another 3-pointer.
"It's nice because (coach Kevin Ollie) was in the NBA a very long time and he was a really good player," Enoch added. "He knows about basketball and he's a good coach -- a great coach."
Enoch took an unofficial visit to UConn in June, but is also generating interest from Memphis, Oregon, VCU, Virginia and Providence among others.
"I might be deciding really soon," Enoch said. "I don't know when, but it's just a matter of really wanting to go somewhere."

“@GiveNGobball: Didn't realize how well Steven Enoch (@Tallflow) could shoot. Came in third in the Big Strick Classic Three Point Classic.”

I really want Enoch - I hate it when we let homegrown studs get away from us, especially in this case when he is in our backyard and a UConn fan. I believe it's not a matter of IF but a matter WHEN he decides to commit to us.
I think the only way we don't land him is if he decides after Stone announces and he chooses us, then Enoch may be a bit wary of coming in plus our staff might not want two bigs
Staff not wanting two bigs is not likely. That's like saying you have too much starting pitching... not gonna happen.I really want Enoch - I hate it when we let homegrown studs get away from us, especially in this case when he is in our backyard and a UConn fan. Umm yea I realize that but grouping PFs and Cs together as bigs for argument sake. Look at the frontcourt we will have returning: Brimah, Facey, Nolan and Lubin. Are you going to add two more bigs to that group?...maybe but I don't think soStone and Enoch play different positions
