As great as Griner is, it is obvious that Simms is a key cog in the Baylor wheel. If Simms is in the game, I wonder if Stanford still comes away with the win. We will never know.

Oh, and Stanford continues to play the role of spoiler of streaks!

Yah, i point fingers at espn and any other broadcaster... But, where the hell are the coaches and ADs of these teams? The head of their Confrences? They've known since forever. They should have - and could have - made i happen and chose not to.

Three point shooting is a key - Cardinal 50%, Bears 14%

I'm watching but I didn't see the last play very well, I heard it went in to BG, where was she when she missed?
Not sure Phil but I think she was on the left baseline, maybe 15 ft. Out. Very makable shot.

ESPN stats show different picture for rebounds, still a Cardinal edge, but 35-27.

Most likely Stanford will end up #1 with UConn still #2.

Yeah, I was just debating that. I could see it go either way, but if I'm the Cardinal, I saying I'm undefeated, and just knocked off Baylor, what on earth else do you want?

Stanford played a great defensive game against Stanford in the NCAA semis last year but didn't win because no one other than Nneka could make a shot. I think Stanford shot 1 for 17 on 3s. Today, Stanford played the same solid defense (No Sims helped), but made just enough shots to win.

BTW, on one of Stanford's last possessions Destiny Williams missed an easy shot under the basket. I don't mention this as a criticism of Williams as she played an excellent game. It's just that making big shots at big moments often decides who wins games between top teams.
