Maybe to supply the game info that @Shades has provided and then prevent further comments?
The info helps me a lot.

The observations on the game are the biggest point of the thread. What's the problem with further comments?

There's already a merged thread for today's games.

I think that is what @HuskyNan was referring to.

I've never been a fan of lumping all the games together, if there's only one or two games I'm interested in. Then you have to fish through all these other score updates and comments to find what you really want. I can't be the only one who feels this way.

17-12 Utah end of first

Not Smith's best game so far. She only played half the quarter in foul trouble and she has 3 TO's to top it off.

I am not arguing with you or have a problem with your thread or opinion.
My original comment was only offering a suggestion based upon the post by @HuskyNan.

Utah leads 32-31 at the half, but Dru Gylten and Kiana Moore both have 3 fouls. That could spell major trouble for them. Not a lot of depth with Provo out for the season.

32-31 Utah end of half

Utah is surprisingly good, a worthy match up to Stanford. I thought maybe it was mostly their soft schedule making them look better than they are. Doesn't seem to be the case.

Huff 11 pts, 8 reb, 1 blk, 1 stl in 17 min

Smith 8 pts, 6 reb, 2 ast, 3 TO, 2 blk in only 11 min

55-50 Utah end of third

Smith still having problems, shooting 3-13 and saddled with 3 PF

Huff with 15 pts for Utah

Smith picks up her 4th PF early in the fourth. They decide to keep her in.

.-.
Clutch 3 by Bean who has been hot all game.

71-68 Utah with a minute left

Smith picks up her 5th foul on a charge.

71-68 with 0:50 left. Utah ball

Stanford gets a stop. 27 seconds to go.

75-68 Utah final

First ever win for Utah against Stanford.

Bean 23 pts, 6 reb, 3 ast, 2 stl
Huff 17 pts, 13 reb, 4 ast, 1 blk, 1 stl

Smith 19 pts, 9 reb, 3 blk, 5 PF

Fwiw, you're not. The combined thread for busy days like Sundays is just too hard to follow if you aren't reading it live and following all the games. It's nice to catch one game thread in its entirety, even if you discover your team lost due to some extremely questionable fouls...

This was a big game. Why wouldn't it get it's own game thread?

Some horrible officiating. But Stanford needed to adjust better... And shoot better!

From my point of view Stanford got their share of calls and, in Smith's case, maybe more than that. But, I agree, important games deserve a thread of their own.

Congratulations to Utah on their first win against Stanford!!!

There was at least one call that was let go on her.

Huge, program-changing breakout win for Utah. This not only gives them the high-quality win they were sorely lacking, but it puts them on the national map as an emerging program. Huff is a senior, but they start 2 freshmen and a 3rd gets major minutes off the bench.

If Arizona St. hadn't got a prayer of a buzzer beater to go in, Utah would still be undefeated.

edited--speaking of ASU, they are locked in a battle w/ USC, only up by 2 in Q3

ASU must have a hangover from their big win in Corvallis. They're flirting with getting swept at home by the (not very good) LA schools.

Totally agree. I have trouble following these multi-game threads unless I’m concentrating on the thread instead of the game(s) I’m watching. Much prefer 1 thread per game. Then you can just ignore the games you’re not interested in, instead of fighting through a bunch of clutter to find what you want.
