When you get to work, or when you log in at home, or when you stare down at your communication device while at the urinal of a Lowe's bathroom, or whenever...take a moment to slide back and stand up. Just start clapping for this team for what we saw last night and overall for the season. Were you expecting a .500 campaign? The clap a little longer. Were you thinkin' under .500? Take a few seconds more. This teams deserves that much.

And when someone near you says "Whaaaa?" Just say, "UConn, baby! And F Cuse!!"

What we have done is unbelievable with the quality wins, but I don't look at these overall records for any coach like Calhoun and Boeheim without understanding that a significant number of those wins are against easier competition. The accomplishment of the wins is great but I cringe when they throw those big numbers out there. For us to be 12 and 12, we would nearly have to be 0-11 in the BE. KO and the team deserve kudos but under .500 teams in the BE have had bad seasons, and despite what anyone says we have some stellar recruited talent even without a center. For some reason though, as satisfying as the win is, I don't hate Cuse. I hate Pitt much more with St. johns a close second. Just for their fanbases sheer smugness.

All right, perspective has gone and jumped out the window.

They beat Syracuse, not the Lakers.

You might want to take a look at the Syr board...

We need an explanation because heaven knows we don't want to do an investigation. Exactly how long has Dove believed that his johnson is a communication device?

Also mental note to self never touch Dove's phones or computers.

I think Syracuse could beat the Lakers. They have a lot of grit.

ha haaa. I am just a witness to yahoos who manipulate their phones while pissing. Imagine some dude sidles up to that urinal next to you, unzips, and suddenly you hear beeping. Talk about needing to know who recently called at that moment!

It was a home game. In Gampel. I don't care what college team walks through the door, we should expect to beat them.

What impresses me, and what I will applaud them for, is the way they win these games. This team has the kind of fight, grit and determination that if the 2004 team had it, it would have been undefeated. That team could have beaten this Syracuse team by 20+, but wouldn't have.

FWIW it was at the XL Center, not that that changes your point about expecting to protect your home turf.

You know that part of the response is because it was Syracuse who a lot of people here have grown to hate due to the amount of idiots that post at their forum. Another reason would be their abandoning the Big East (Along with Pittsburgh) at a critical time where we stood a chance to get a pretty lucrative contract. A third reason would be the fact that this team hasn't really any goals to fight for with their post season ban. Lastly they lost a big man that has been a key contributor in some of their better wins this year. With all that going on, they played with great intensity and showed some serious grit and prevailed. Not too shabby!

Ugh...how did I screw that up. Maybe because the crowd was actually into the game.

What I liked most was: THIS...IS....UCONN BASKETBALL

What we all think of when we say it. Grit & determination. "Wicked pissa" defense. Great ball movement. Timely shooting. Daggers.

Ten toes in. Unselfishness.

Love it.

True enough, but of litany of dumba$$ times people choose to check their phones you that's an over-share that caused the record to screech to a halt http://www.freesound.org/people/Halleck/sounds/29938/

This was a well managed game from the bench and the floor game of Boat and Bazz showed maturity, and guile under pressure. Carter-Williams showed flashes of ability and Trishe was consumed by the moment. T.O. did a very good job, and O.C. is not afraid of the moment. I would love to keep this group for 1 more yr with the additions of the incoming class.

Reports of my demise . . . exaggerated. I'm quite well thank you.
My twin cousins, "relativity" and "unbiased," however, are missing and presumed dead
