St. John's Post Game Thread

Spurring you on toward your furthest star, though, to be honest I wear a bib and tap on a telephone. That you don't understand me should serve as a clue. Your excesses are no less insufferable, but others do more than enough to keep you perpetually engaged while I attend to other things.

Btw, LOVED the out-in-the-open back-and-forth between you and @Inyatkin. I did not know something like that was possible between two posters who have each other on Ignore.

"Ignore me.
"I ignore you."
"I ignored you first."
"I ignore you more."
"Well then ignore me."
"Make me."
"Just make believe I don't exist."
"Just stop posting."
"If you did it my way, then all would be well."
"Don't you wish."
"Stop it."
"Stop what?"

It's a "Dancing With the Stars" cage match.

And you call it "jibberish?" You can't even spell it correctly.

PS - Don't ever change.
Start tomorrow.
Hey thanks for tagging me and proving my point that even the ignore feature makes these posts inescapable

Pitino sets an interesting tempo. How many of these kids are just like, got my money I don't feel like dealing with this "sh#t". This is the danger of deep pocket strategy. Kentucky is seeing it.

Let's how May's team does in the Dance. They have an interesting quality to them as well as basically an all portal team. They turn it on when they need to (Vegas), but then wind down at times. They're lead by a goofey bird in Yaxel. Kinda why I like AZ/Duke a bit more in the tourney.

And I'm with you - having your best player & BPOY check out of a tournament game is odd vibes.

It's why MLB players always have more pride for the team that drafted them.

UConn/portal kids get to rally around a kid like AK, who is a foundational product of the program.
Zuby is all they got draft wise - somewhere in the second round. He knows he's making his best money this year

Imagine believing Rick.

That suit is coming out tomorrow.

.-.
Didn’t get to read all this thread but will later. I was at the game, will say for those who asked about the crowd, easily best one of year and to compare? I’d throw it close to the Dream Season when the HCC was at its loudest, very close impressive. The thing is the crowd feeds off the passion and hard defense, it works. Fast starts help too. Well done fans, well done.

Let’s be honest, this team needs an A game from Tarris as we saw. The team plays off it, the defense plays off him it was a great effort. And think of it this way, you didn’t get another A game from anyone else, maybe a couple Bs, maybe a B+ from Alex, but we saw how good we can be with Reed playing like that.

Danny severely out coached Rick and he had no answers, especially with the mason effort by his players. They pretty much gave up with 8-9 minutes left, the air was outta their sails it was fun to see. Loved to see people going under screens rather than fighting through and people hard hedging. The Johnnies plan was to come off screens with a full head of steam to get to the rim. Instead we left them room to shoot from deep but not turn the corner it was brilliant. It also kept Reed out of trouble which is huge.

Hope to see that same defensive plan tomorrow, really liked the way the team switched and made them take shots they weren’t confident taking.

Let’s see the next reaction, can’t wait!

During the period that led to the hiring of Dan Hurley, my list of people on Ignore ballooned to record numbers. It was the only way to deal with the polarized community.

After things reset, I went through my Ignores and kept only 1 or 2. Over time, I would recognize when something was missing, and I started to discover who Ignored me. At first, I thought, "Who'd want to ignore me?" Then I got pretty good at guessing who had posted what I wasn't seeing. Most times I was not surprised that when I'd discover another ignorer, and I could see how I could have been bothersome in response to posts that led me to be critical. I didn't really miss anybody, and with only one exception, I could always see somebody's initial post when they opened up a new thread, but not any follow up comments. I have no idea why that one poster was 100% invisible to me. Jecs not anymore, and I appreciate his posts for the most part.

Anyway, after the site update, all posters returned to my view. The people who had previously ignored me still write things that can annoy me, but it's not enough for me to speak up. They even sometimes contribute things that I can give a Like to. I have no idea if perhaps they still don't see my posts, but now I do see theirs. I don't care to get to the bottom of this.

Ast the end of February, I've firmly shifted to the part of the season where things have to come together, including the fans. I'm not in favor of people putting their energy into rosters for a year or two into the future, but I did like the snowstorm thread

I loved Wednesday's game, and I wish for focus and good performance to earn a sweep against Seton Hall on Saturday afternoon.

Go Huskies.
