Absolutely had to have that one I’ll worry about all about beating the better teams after this one.

The scary thing is your takes are consistently so bad that I really can't tell if you're trolling or not here.
Yeah and I guess everybody agree with yours right … it’s laughable

That was brutal but it's still a win. The amount of layups missed is unconscionable, make your layups and we win that game by 15.

Hurley, please don't use the don't foul at the end of game strategy, it worked out there but I hate it. It's one thing that drove me nuts about Calhoun.

Huge win…. Missed at least 10 or more bunnies. Game shouldn’t have even been that close. Needed that win with Nova Xavier and Seton Hall coming up.

UConn is way more talented than most teams in the BE. This underachieving performance and lack of execution is a reflection on the coach too. Players/coaches are not living up to their end.
It doesn’t matter how talented they are if the 5 best players fit together terribly and only 2 of them can shoot somewhat consistently.

I'm going with so out of touch with reality that he believes it's a real possibility

Question. Is it me or are both of these teams today lousy? I know it’s a road win and we take it.

If you'd asked me pre-game who St. John's offensive star would be and gave me 6 chances, I still wouldn't have said Montez Mathis.

Good thing Champagnie had an off night offensively, and Posh was out. OTOH, thank God for Whaley's 5-6 shooting.

Tough game, exhausting to watch. Came away with the win, and that's all that really matters.

Have to foul against that team in that situation
I'm very much in the foul up 3 camp but St John's was moving backwards basically the full 13 seconds and none were good looks. I guess why risk a miracle shot falling, but I didn't hate the choice here

You foul as soon as you cross the court. It just bad coaching based on the team we were playing. How bad they shoot FTs. How good we rebound. Just poor management.

St John's is a team that will punish you for mistakes like no other in the conference. They're by no means the best team, but they're extremely alert and know how to quickly take advantage of any sloppiness or errors. A win against them, with so many missed points blank shots and cough ups is no small feat. Big win, even if their record doesn't make it seem that way.
