They did beat Notre Dame, who was legit.

But I've been saying this from the start of the tournament. They were really really good. One of the best teams (with Duke, Wisconsin, Arizona, and pre-injury Virginia). But not historically great. It was hard to tell, though, because the SEC was garbage.
