I think that applies to many if not the majority of the posts in this thread. Especially the ones about the physics of hitting a baseball. These are not even sports terms per se. They are observations of the physics of the game that have been found to correlate with certain results.The term is derived from the acronym SABR, which stands for the Society for American Baseball Research
