You seem to think that I am accountable for every comment made by every UConn fan. I never hated on ONO and my only comment about Boston was to point out the level of opposition she faced in the paint the other day. I think she is great but when her fans started touting her performance against a munchkin roster as evidence of greatness I just pointed out the only game this season where Boston had to play against a better center and didn't play all that great. That doesn't mean she can't win POY but it does say that she isn't omnipotent. She and Cunnane cancelled each other out and it was left to the rest of her team to produce points and they did produce 37, but it was not nearly enough.

I remember reading comments about how Wilson would dominate UConn. The SC fans had all the stats figured and they were convinced that Wilson would show UConn something. And for 4 years she lost to UConn every time they played so you will forgive me for not panicking over your team.

Can you provide an example or two of someone who you'd consider a good post aside from Cunane? I asked you before but you ignored the question.

I have absolutely no idea what you are saying, let alone with such vitriol. I happen to be a longtime UConn fan dating back to my daughter’s infatuation with Jen Rizzotti. Who she modeled her game over.
The intent of my post was that Arkansas scored at will against SC, but gave up 104 points, ergo UConn could also score at will and would play better defense. Hindsight would indicate my prejudgment might be incorrect, but to refer to me as a troll is unmistakably a ridiculous assumption on your part. You should apologize, unless you have absolutely no character and even less maturity.

I absolutely never said that. I said Arkansas scored 82 points and didn’t think SC could score 102 against UConn. Why you made an issue of a post made before this game was ever scheduled is just totally ridiculous. If you need some book ideas to better utilize your time, I’ll be happy to make suggestions.

So what I am saying is this: a CT fan creates this thread for the sole purpose to point out to one and all that he doesn't think much of South Carolina. OK, that's fine - he also predicted that CT would beat Arkansas by dbl digits so we now know the extent of his prevision skills.

Then another CT fan - you - added your post in response to someone else posting the simple fact that USC scored 62 points in the 2nd half alone against Arkansas:

Arkansas scored 90 points against CT. CT scored fewer than 104 points against Arkansas. No one here stated that USC would score 104 pts against CT, but based on YOUR logic applied here, they seem to have a better chance of doing that against CT than they had against Arkansas.

But the point is, USC doesn't HAVE to score 104 pts against CT, so what is YOUR point? Besides starting a strawman argument that wasn't called for?

You say Arkansas scored "at will" against USC - they shot 45% against us, but shot 52% against CT. Scored 82 against us, but scored 90 against CT. If 45% is "at will" what would 52% be considered? South Carolina is right with or right behind Arkansas in leading the SEC in scoring offense, and shoots at a slightly higher rate of efficiency overall than Arkansas does.

And I had an aunt that was a professor of nursing at USC, and I started attending Gamecock games in 1972, which I believe is 2 years before Rizzotti was born, so....nice to have this discussion with another longtime college sports fan......

OK, I apologize. I was referring to my original post and was confusing the Baylor game (which I saw) with the SC game, which I did not see. What can I say; I’m an old man with signs of early dementia.
