How can it be that UConn is outrebounding SC nearly 2:1? Skill and quickness beats length...at least sometimes....

That's the thing - if you told me Lou wasn't going to score at all and we would be up I'd be skeptical. Interesting how Geno says they're being rough with her. Apparently the refs don't agree. We have a normal amount of fouls for us but they don't. You can't tell me they aren't fouling their average. They better keep an eye on things a little closer in the 2nd half.

This is a real step-up game for Lou. It's entirely okay if she doesn't score, so long as she contributes other ways. She needs to dig real deep and realize that. Stay positive; stay productive in other ways.

Eh, I'll take a 6 point edge while Samuelson is playing her D- game. Good defensive effort given the challenges they're faced with.

Doesn't mean I have no desire to see Samuelson turn the corner in the second half, though.
