A great one from Patti LaBelle and Michael McDonald. Two spectacular voices!

Songs that make me sad?
As one born during World War II, from which many family and friends never returned, and then the same thing happening to my generation during Nam, I can tear up when I hear Vera Lynn's poignant and heartbreaking wartime ballad:
I love this song, Coach! It's exactly the opposite of sad. It's a very life-affirming song about a mature love.I can't get through this song without crying!
A love so special that this 78 year old yearns for, but will never attain!

@CL82- - Yes it's a beautiful song but to me it's a beautiful love that never found ME!I love this song, Coach! It's exactly the opposite of sad. It's a very life-affirming song about a mature love.
Very, very, sad. This is the saddest song I have ever heard, and I will not listen to it if it is playing somewhere. LOL. It just gets to me."Honey" by Bobby Goldsboro. It still makes me tear up!
A viral moment from Britain's got talentI Dreamed A Dream, from Les Mis
I dreamed a dream
in time gone by,
when hope was high
and life worth living
i dream that love will never die
i dreamed that god would be forgiving
when i was young and unafraid
and dreams were made and used and wasted
but their's no ransom to be paid
