OT: Songs that make you sad...for whatever reason

Hoverin' by my suitcase
Tryin' to find a warm place to spend the night
Heavy rain's fallin'
Seems I hear your voice callin' "it's all right"

One acheing and sad love song from Neil Young-

Pardon my heart
If I showed that I cared
But I love you more than moments
We have or have not shared

Paulina Villarreal - Breathe
The only time this has been played live. Music starts approximately 50 seconds in.

Paraphrasing the introduction spoken in Spanish: "This is a very personal song that I said that I would never play live. But there are 8000 of you here tonight to see us play so, even though my voice is very bad I want to sing it for you."

When the crowd starts to sing with her she says: "No, No, I have to sing this".

Interesting pick. I was listening to Sirius XM Hair Nation Thursday and the DJ played Nelson. I think it’s the first time I have heard them on that station. The DJ then discussed the 3 generations of the Nelson family...
I've heard Nelson on Hair Nation several times. I can't understand why, they weren't remotely considered hair metal or any kind of metal when they were around. They did have the hair for it though!

Songs that make me sad?

As one born during World War II, from which many family and friends never returned, and then the same thing happening to my generation during Nam, I can tear up when I hear Vera Lynn's poignant and heartbreaking wartime ballad:

This is a very old children's song about kids in school learning to read, and it makes me cry every time I hear it.
